"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. As you can see from the photos, the beach is not clear blue but it was very pretty and the water was warm. We mostly stayed by the quiet pool. It was disappointing that it closed so early every night but we enjoyed our days here, just lounging by the pool. The woman that worked in the shop in the lobby was completely rude. The gentleman that drives the golf cart around and takes you to and from different parts of the resort was amazing, super friendly. We did specialty dinners and upgrades for all of our meals. The weight staff, for each of these were absolutely amazing above and beyond they made up for the several rude workers that we encountered throughout our week. We ate at the buffet on our last day before departing for the airport and it was absolutely disgusting. Even the ice cream tasted bad. I’m so thankful we ended up paying more for the upgraded dinners because we would’ve starved all week if we had to eat at that buffet again. Unfortunately one in our party had to go to the clinic so that was a $250 charge for a five minute visit with the “doctor” who looked at their eye and said it might be pink eye and then charged an additional $50 for eye drops. Even though it’s all inclusive we felt nickeled and dimed. "

"The bar was stoked and the air-conditioning was very cold. I had to turn off and get a blanket. Most of the staff are not people or service friendly. A few that stood out were Ana in the buffet, Alejandro in the timeshare area, Elias that took us over to the timeshare, the young lady that served us in the "reserved"outside timeshare bar area. Our daughter was ill 2/2 water contamination and was limited on what she could eat as she was bedridden.There was minimal help in getting food to her from the folks in charge. Room service was not available on several occasions to bring food to her. Our VIP status meant nothing. "
