First time visit here & we would definitely come back. Everyone was friendly & accommodating. We enjoyed the hot breakfast bar the next morning along with the newspaper. We went to the sand dunes that day & we went back the next day so the Holiday Inn wasn’t that far to travel back & forth. Loved it. Seeing I couldn’t rate the room at the bottom I’ll give it 5 stars.

I have traveled to El Centro over the last six years for business and pleasure and at the Holiday Inn Express El Centro the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is central for my business needs and quiet.

Had one of the best experiences here at the Holiday Inn, me and my boyfriend are in town for The Lights Festival and Robert at the front desk made everything effortlessly welcoming :) Definitely coming back again! And we live four hours away! Thank you Holiday Inn & Thank you Robert! Happy Holidays!

THE worst stay ever !! I booked at this Holiday Inn on my way back from Yuma , normally you can’t go wrong with a Holiday Inn , and even it was little expencive for a HI , I had booked here . At entering there was no one at the front desk , we waited more then 15 minutes before someone checked us in , seemed like we were not really welcome . When we walked up to the elevator the breakfast area was taken over by people , and children ran up and down and in and out , without supervision ! After we got settled in the room we were up for the pool , But when we arrived , that area also seemed to be “ taken over “ by a lot of people . No towels , so again waiting for 20 minutes before someone showed up at front desk , the lady came from outsite .... 🤔🤔 , and 10 minutes later we got our pool towels . But those people that were in the pool area never gave a chance to even use the pool ! Looked like a family gathering , they were smoking and drinking , and children sceaming and running around like crazy ! Only choice we had was getting to the room , but even there we had no peace ! Even after midnight those people were partying , and children running and screaming in the pool area , and trough the hallways !! It was after 1am that we finally could go to sleep . In the morning we were up for breakfast ...... but what a disappointment ! The same people toke over the breakfast area ! Some having breakfast , others just sitting and talking . There was no chear , let alone a table that was free in the one hour periode that we tried to have breakfast , and as soon as the clerk brought new food , everyone jumped on it ! We had some OJ , and then tried to make a pancake , but that didn’t even work cause the machine was stuborn . After 5 attempts from the clerk , and more then one hour , we checked out with just some OJ as breakfast . At the front desk we only saw one lady in the evening , and a guy in the morning , i saw him talking to the kitchen staff one moment , it was clear they couldn’t handle the situation ! This hotel is not worth naming a holiday in ! And the manager needs to be fired !!!!!!! I mostly choice HI when traveling , but after paying a lot of money for such terrible service I’m going to choice different branch !

The room was nice, clean and quiet. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. I didn't have to wait. It has a nice pool especially for the hot days. I wil come back to the hotel next time I come to the area.

We stayed at this hotel while traveling through on vacation arriving after midnight. When we got to our room the A/C was off and the room was hot. Not a big deal it eventually cooled off. Next morning we had the free breakfast. My family went down first and my daughter got the last cinnamon roll. I made it down shortly thereafter (about 10 minutes before the breakfast ended) and they were not putting out any more food. I inquired about a cinnamon roll because this is the main reason I stay at Holiday Inn Express, their cinnamon rolls are awesome. The hostess serving breakfast said she could not cook any more rolls because the "owners were watching" and I guess they don't want cinnamon rolls to go to waste or something. To the owner: don't be stingy with the cinnamon rolls, that's all you got over the other hotels. If I'm going to pay the same price as Marriot and not get cinnamon rolls then I'll just stay at the Marriot!

Picked this last minute after travelling for 500 miles. Got in to room quickly and the boys wanted to hit the great looking outdoor pool. Unfortunately although it looked great it was closed and remained that way for the two days. We were offered a pool at another hotel 1 exit away on I-8! Room was older than most HIE and the bathroom shower was not up to usual power - a strong dribble. Wasn't the best stay and the hotel is having some works done we could here during the day. Staff were pleasant and we really wanted to give 5 stars but there were just too many little things not right compared to the last 4 HIE we have used.

When I got this hotel I slept the whole first night without interruption and after eating a great little snack provided by the hotel . Robert the employee who checked me in was very courteous and got down to business as soon as I arrived checking me into my room quickly and efficiently and had the credit card authorization already in place and ready to go something most hotels fail to do. Being a person that stays in hotels regularly for work it's refreshing when someone gets it right. This is only the beginning of my story though because when I got stuck in town for another night I arrived at this hotel once again and was greeted by Robert I was very intrigued by the balconies that they had on some rooms and inquired about this without hesitation Robert change my room and got me hooked right up with one of these beautiful balconies, this was by far one of the best stays at a hotel I've had this year!!! Thanks again to Robert and the holiday inn

I have had to stay here for business on more than one occasion. The staff are always very pleasant and try to get to know me a bit. The rooms are spacious, with a refrigerator and microwave included. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and I always get a good nights sleep. A buffet style breakfast is included daily, with a variety of choices. A light dinner is served M-T in the evening, and it varies every day. I have been upgraded to a better room whenever one is available. I look forward to my next visit with them.

Very nice and centrally located in El Centro, California and right off the freeway Interstate 8. Lots of parking, easy to get in and out. Very nice and professional staff and the hotel is very clean and looking fresh. Very good breakfast buffet with many option. The pool was outside and very large along with the hot tub. The pool and the hot tube were being serviced according to a sign on the gate. The pool area had lots of outside furniture and when everything is working would be a great place to enjoy the evening with or without children. My wife and I stayed there for the in room hot tube, in one of their upgraded room that had two rooms and one king size bed. Very nice looking but for my wife and I, (older folks), the hot tube was VERY difficult for both of us to get in and out of for at our age. Also we could not make the jets work, we did not know there was another switch on the far wall that needed to be turn on and did not use the jets along with the switch in the tub.. Very disappointing. The motel did make good for our problem.
