Indoor pool was not sufficiently heated. Apparently the outside temperature is what determines the temp setting for heated pool.

The elevator was broken! I have been here before and usually everything is good but this time I was not happy that elevator was not operating.

Nice and clean. Close to where we wanted to go the next day. Also has a pool too!

Best hotel experience we’ve had in the Imperial Valley!

I booked 2 nights at the Hampton Inn El Centro March 9-11, 2018 for an air show. Driving 4-5 hours from Phoenix on a Friday night, we went straight to bed. Early the next morning I received a phone call that my father in Alabama had been life-flighted to the hospital unresponsive. We checked out within 30 minutes by 7:30 a.m. & was on our way back to Phoenix to get a flight to Alabama. The guy checking us out would not refund the 2nd night & said we would have to contact the unavailable manager. Driving back, I called the hotel & they said I had to contact Orbitz. I called Orbitz & they said it was up to the hotel manager. They put me on hold & contacted the hotel & said the manager refused to refund. I felt like everyone just kept passing me back & forth. I didn’t even know the status of my father & everyone was so indifferent & could care less. I understand not wanting people to book & cancel or take advantage, but there are exceptions. This was beyond my control & extremely stressful. So, we paid for a room we couldn’t use, gave up tickets to a show we couldn’t attend, & paid an outrageous amount for a short notice airplane ticket to get to my father. We have stayed with Hampton Inns in the past & have always enjoyed our experience, however, this was an eye-opener to what is really important to them. They would rather pocket free money for a room that I know they rebooked & made money off of a 2nd time than nurture relationships with their guests.

Comfortable and great place to stay. I stay here during a troubling time for my family. They made my stay grest.

Very comfortable. Great hospitality. Never used the pool but it sure was nice. The gym was to die for. Sufficient parking space both in front and behind the property. Blocks away from the imperial valley mall. What more do you need!

My stay was very nice, but the breakfast was minimal and not very good. Choices are poor.
