I would stay here again. The staff were friendly; the rooms were clean; there was a good (free) breakfast with some hot dishes available, waffles, and continental. I booked online and received a discount for the room....far cheaper than booking direct. No complaints with this place.

All the staff - front desk, breakfast, house cleaning, management and all other staff are fabulous. Have stayed here 3 times in the last 6 months and will stay no where else. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the free breakfast was good too! We didn’t know until we checked into our hotel that we were upgraded to a suite as well which we really liked and appreciated. We will definetly stay at this hotel again!

The welcome and service of the hotel staff here contributed to a wonderful experience for our family. The staff treat children as welcome and respected guests. Any requests made of hotel staff were always promptly attended to. The soundproofing in the rooms was not great -- however, we were happy to overlook this in favour of the hospitality and price.

The staff at the mall hotel treated us more like a nuisance. The staff at the Hampton were amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate us in anyway possible. The rooms are amazing and the free breakfast was really good

Stayed with the family getaway after Christmas. Rooms were very clean and staff was very pleasant. I forgot something in my room after check out and called back 5 hours later and was able to get my item back. That was greatly appreciated.

We rented two rooms on a recent family trip to check out West Edmonton Mall. The rooms were very nice. Clean and comfortable. I used the small gym and it was actually good enough to get a workout in. The complimentary breakfast was good. Omelettes were tasty - the breakfast kitchen staff made sure everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. They interacted with the hotel guests ensuring there was more than enough to eat (we felt like we were being fed by our mothers). The staff was nice and friendly except when we checked out. The gentleman at the counter did not greet us with a smile and didn’t seem keen on helping us. He was not very good at his job considering he worked at front desk - he should have had a friendly attitude and eagerness to greet and help customers. He seemed confused and not awake - he couldn’t explain what incidentals we were being charged for (room service and bottles of water we grabbed from the mini store the night before) and it took him a while to figure it out. Other than that we did enjoy our stay at the Hampton Inn. Front desk customer service needs improvement.

Good location and quality for the price. One of the amenities for kids of the pool area not working and hot tub was under maintenance, so not good in that regards. Food was good and hotel clean. Staff very friendly.

Staff was great, breakfast had issues with room and quality. Heat in the room was an issue, noise from the elivator and people in the halls were a pain and the mattresses kept sliding off the base. Didn’t bother complaining as nothing usually gets done about it.

Great overall experience starting with friendly and personable staff who really give the impression that they care about your day and experience. We were upgraded to a better room and it was very spacious and comfortable. Great beds and pillows, shower was clean and good pressure but the bathroom fan didn't work. Complimentary breakfast had some good options and staff were working there to help you, not just to tidy up like most places. Coffee and tea was available 24hrs and the coffee was actually pretty good! Proximity of the hotel is close to shopping areas and the huge mall. There is a great restaurant called Homefire close by but like everything else in Edmonton, you'll have to drive. There was no walking permitted between hotels and restaurants due to fences everywhere. It was super cold during our visit (-30 Celsius) so it was nice that there was plug-in available for the car. Again for Edmonton it is annoying that everything is so far away from each other, cold and empty but for what they could, Hampton provided a nice warm, comfortable experience.
