Everything was perfect, the courtyard especially was beautiful. My only critique is the hotel is located on a hill so it's a bit inconvenient to walk there but that's a small price to pay for the amazing views.

The hotel is located away from the busy streets of Central Edinburgh but is a short walk away. The standard room was small but comfortable and clean. A perfect size when with us being out all day. Many tourist sites and restaurants are within walking distance. The breakfast is the normal Holiday Inn menu with a good range of options and staff that are quick to top everything up.
