Low key hotel in the London tradition. Small lobby, maze of hallways and elevators to rooms, good food and drink, but a bit pricey. Rooms are much larger than expected and very nice. I would stay here again.
We had a lovely stay at the Charlotte Square Kimpton. Great facility, great location and friendly staff.
We really enjoyed the comfortable and lovely room, the fresh linens and quality toiletry offerings, the architecture, and the fabulous and friendly staff. The location is central and pleasant with many nearby restaurants. I will happily return to this hotel next visit to Edinburgh. I had wished more of a breakfast cafe was available for us late risers, and the elevator was a little slow, but all in all we were very happy.
From the welcoming front desk staff, clean rooms, food service and location everything was top notch. Head Concierge (Gavin) and his assistant-went above and beyond to help with restaurant recommendations, sight seeing (esp. given COVID restrictions). even got one restaurant to provide a comp. champagne welcome. Both in house restaurants were very good. But Aizle (6/7 course tasting menu) was something truly special.

The location was great. The restaurant has a small but very good menu and bar. The room was very calming and comfortable, well appointed.

This was the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in in a while. The location is great (near Tram, Princess St and Castle). The staff was so pleasant and helpful.... even as we had a late check in and were all a little out of sorts. The first floor dining area is a great place to meet friends and the work out area is one of the nicest we have seen in Europe. Overall you cannot go wrong staying here.
