Hotel agradable, pero con demasiadas escaleras

El personal del hotel muy amable, pero esta ubicado en una zona tranquila y lejos de la ciudad antigua. La pieza estaba en el tercer piso, que eran como seis normales ( había que subir demasiadas escaleras para llegar a la pieza y se oía todo de la pieza vecina.

It’s very lovely. The staff are great. Our room was huge, had everything we needed. The decor is very eclectic. It was a bit loud for me, but it’s fun. The street itself is very quiet, but it’s a less than 10 minute walk to restaurants, a small market, etc. It was chilly when we were there, so we didn’t get to enjoy the garden, but it’s a really nice space. The stairs are a lot, so if you have mobility issues, you need to check with them first. Also, it’s an old (but well maintained) house, so have appropriate expectations. The cleaning staff was really loud in the hallway in the morning. I also didn’t see evidence of them ever refreshing our room in the three days we were there. I assume if I asked for it though it would have been done. They were very accommodating. It is a great alternative to corporate hotels.

I loved the large room with a couch and sitting area. But especially, we really liked Johnathan and the way he took good care of us while at the hotel. Everything from recommendations on dinner to the whisky in the hotel whisky bar. He made everything even that much better. I highly recommend 24 Royal Terrace!

A remarkable hidden gem

Location Tucked just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the hotel is ideally placed for those who want peace and quiet without having to head for the outskirts. Room The rooms are decorated with solid and well-maintained furniture, as well as some lovely works of art (the hotel doubles as an art gallery). We noticed very little noise from other rooms. Our room had a roll-top bath, and a ton of space for moving around, as well as a lovely view out to the Firth of Forth. According to my spouse, the only thing missing was a shoe horn. Service The staff were absolutely magnificent. We were greeted warmly by everyone, and it seemed that no (reasonable) ask was too much. Whether manning the desk or the bar, the staff were happy to chat, share their knowledge of the city, and joyfully critique my taste in whiskies. Value This is not a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. That said, it was well worth what we paid. Overall The hotel has no gym, but we got plenty of cardio walking to the hotel and up its long staircases. This hotel is a boutique spot, perfect for those who want a break from the generic mass market approach while discovering Edinburgh and its surrounds.

We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again!

Outstanding apartment. Comfy bed, large bathroom with great shower and tub. Lots of artwork around. Excellent location close to stores and restaurants and the Picardy Place tram stop. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh.

We loved 24 Royal Terrace. The staff were all very helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect - right next to Calton Hill. We walked everywhere. Our room (number 2) was huge! The bathtub was huge! We would highly recommend.

24 Royal Terrace is a gorgeous, unique hotel with an extensive art collection. It is a small boutique lodging with a family atmosphere, and the staff is always ready to help. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. When we were leaving, it was like parting with family.

We cannot say enough about 24 Royal Terrace. From the moment we walked in (after a previous week of travel) to the last minute, we were amazed. The decor is outstanding and intriguing. The staff are on top of everything and go out of their way to answer questions, provide advice or simply share their knowledge and experience. A bonus was the whiskey tasting and expertise! Jonathan and Marinella were so happy to chat and share their wealth of knowledge, and went above and beyond to make the stay so wonderful. This establishment and it's staff are a hidden gem. Adriene was available each evening for a nightcap or a chat, and Naomi. and the lovely darlin' Katie were kind and as sweet as could be. I was so emotional entering Scotland, as it's been a dream to visit my Granny's home land, and I was emotional leaving it as this hotel and people were more than we could have asked for. We will suggest 24 Royal to all our friends, and hope to be back to chat with Jonathan, Nella, Adrien, Naomi and sweet Katie again. Book it. You will have no regrets!! (yes - walking distance to many things, and hop on hop off, is just around the corner) The food was outstanding as well. Naomi was right, the eggs and water are the best in Scotland!

24 Royal Terrace was a charming boutique hotel! So cute and easily accessible to the Edinburg airport tram. Our room was on the top floor, 61 steps up with no lift, but the staff kindly carried up all of our luggage. The staff was extremely wonderful and helpful in every way! Loved this treasure of a hotel in Edinburg!

What a find!

What a find! Such a lovely hotel- the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. The breakfasts were amazing and everything was of the highest quality and such a variety of dishes all freshly prepared to order. It was so conveniently situated for walking into the city centre. Wonderful Hotel

It is always a pleasure to stay at this hotel, the interior is truly unique. I have stayed at many quality hotels in Edinburgh, but this one, is without a doubt, my favourite. Great rooms, comfortable beds, powerful showers and luxurious bath tubs. Easy on street parking. The breakfast is out of this world and must be one of the best in Britain. However best of all are the wonderful staff who are so welcoming and helpful.
