The property had an interesting history, which was nicely documented for the guest to read about. The bed was very comfortable & the shower pressure was pretty good, although it was very tiny. The room itself was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed. The room towels could use an upgrade and the great room decor would be more appealing without all the silk flowers. Wine, beer n sodas were a very nice touch - a non sweet wine would be a great addition. Overall happy with the stay and a good value.

Not quite as enjoyable as before.

This is a beautiful building, unique rooms and nice location. Under the new ownership things have changed a bit and we were a little disappointed in that the back yard had been let go and not as beautiful. Rates have changed, Manner of breakfast has changed and the meal I ate was not great quality, but I ultimately like the idea of a restaurant like format. Not sure if we will go there again.

a bit offbest

It's kind of an unusual place. Nice, but maybe a bit over-decorated, and with kind of an offbeat aesthetic. It was quiet and peaceful, and they give you a lot of free snacks and drinks, which is nice, but it's an unusual cross between the anonymity of a hotel and the closeness of a bed and breakfast.
