We didn't have a horrible experience but we wouldn't stay here again. It was clean but didn't feel like it because it is so outdated. The furnishings are so old and the room had unfinished maintenance like wall patches left unpainted etc. The carpet was full of stains. But the room was large and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of grab and go things as well as some food you could sit down and eat.

Everything was clean, quiet, and welcoming for four, soaked hikers coming in off the Purgatory trailhead returning from Chicago Basin. Breakfast was better than expected and included hot items. A laundry was available so we could start getting our soaked items washed to avoid mildew, and the staff was *super* helpful and friendly. Topped off with some fresh made mountain thunder lemonade in the lobby before heading to the airport. Would stay here again.
