It is close to everything!
Nice location along the Animas River and close to downtown Durango but the hotel needs an update desperately.
This is a large hotel for a mountain town. It has a sort of western or saloon type field to it in the common area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated on the river trail which was nice for a morning walk. There are also numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was tasteful and open later in the evening which was convenient as well.
Property was close to downtown
Excellent hotel. Short walk to historic downtowtown Main Street. Large king single room was spacious and very clean.
Great location next to the river, train station and downtown Durango.
How close to the downtown and the river it was.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again.
Night Manager was awesome. We came into town with our mountain bikes. He suggested some local trail—turned out amazing!
Overpriced ala carts everything. Hard to locate no less access daytime cafe/bar. Room clean and staff friendly enough. The cookie doesn’t cover the ala cartel charges for included offerings elsewhere. Breakfast and parking to be specific as well as shuttle service. Walking distance a bit of a stretch for the distance to down town attractions. $200 per night for the opportunity to overspend on property. Won’t be back unless it’s on the company dime.
Everything was great, from the comfortable beds to the good restaurant food.
