Trolly stops out front to take you around town, Pizza Hut and BBQ place within walking distance Clean as always expected with a Hampton inn
This was a typical Hampton with a great staff and north town location. We used is a base to explore the Durango area including Mesa Verde.
This hotel was somewhat disappointing as it did not have a microwave in the room. For what we paid, that was one amenity that was expected as we use them quite often. It was an average Hampton Inn. Staff was very nice and helpful. New Year's day and the breakfast seating area was trashed from late night partying from night before. Night clerk might have notice and cleaned up before guests started looking for a clean place to sit and eat.
We have stayed at Hampton Inn before and continue to appreciate that we get what we expect. Staff is wonderful, room is clean and well equipped. Of course, having breakfast waiting in the morning is a plus. We will continue to book with them.
Staff were all very friendly. It was a great stay for us.
The hotel was easy to find, very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. I loved the omelettes and fresh fruit. My kids loved the waffles. I would absolutely stay here again.
Clean, comfortable and the staff was very accomodating. Front desk recommended a great place to have dinner and drinks
Was in a good location for the price and had a good breakfast the room was clean how ever when they came in to clean the room they threw away a bag with a anniversary wine opener gift in it but the hotel went above and beyond to make it up with for us and was very sorry we would stay here again despite what happened
Great place to stay, in spite of the 8 a.m. fire alarm going off. Fire Co. showed up. Most likely someone smoking in room! Although on far edge of town, still within easy drive of downtown area.
Very pleasant staff and helpful too!! Room was very well laid out, and very clean!! Great food at the buffet breakfast..... Keep it going, cuz we'll be there again... Thanx a million.....
The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful, in addition to being clean and spacious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I was grateful for a good night's rest after a long day of driving. The area around the hotel is beautiful, and the quaint downtown is just a few minutes away.
It's at the outer edge of Durango on the North End of town and it is excellent. We have two daughters going to Ft Lewis college so we've been to Durango many times and have tried most hotels/motels; the Best Western Durango had been the best so far, until we accidentally booked at the Hampton Inn for two days. Clean, huge, comfortable rooms, superbly comfortable beds, accommodating staff, excellent breakfast, the best we've experienced in Durango at any price. This is where we will stay in the future!
I booked a room with two queens and when we checked into our room found two doubles. When I tried to change my room I was told they don't have any queen beds in the motel. It was late in the day and we had an early flight out in the morning. They told us at the front desk that the continental breakfast started at 6 a.m. but we had to leave at 5 a.m. to catch our flight. They told us they would pack a small breakfast (fruit, yogurt, etc.) to take with us in the morning since we were leaving before breakfast started. Since it was late and they were going to still get us a breakfast we decided to stay and not look for another motel. In the morining I was told by the man at the front desk they only will pack breakfast during the week for their guests and therefore would not pack anything for my wife or our two boys who are 11 and 6 years old. The staff did not seem to care about us, or our stay at the motel at all. Motel seemed nice and clean with, what looked like, a nice pool but because of the service for the price, we will not stay here again.
Needed a place to stay that was convenient to the airport.
We went to check out the town and go shopping. There was nothing missing from our trip, it was fun and enjoyable. The people where helpful and friendly. There is no comparison.
This hotel lived up to all expectations and more. Spotless rooms, extremely comfortable bedding, kind and helpful staff and well prepared full breakfast.
We went skiing, and enjoyed the tranquility of Durango.
Between Durango Mtn. and town the hotel location was great. The walls were a little thin. I'm used to a king sized bed so sharing a full size bed was annoying but comfortable if you like soft. The staff was very accomodating. The hotel and rooms were very clean and organized well.
Nice clean and friendly staff, but cable did not work. My son could not play games or watch movies. Took them most of the night to fix the problem.
Went to Durango for the weekend to take the train trip to Silverton. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was okay but was diappointed by the lack of counter space in the bathroom. Maybe adding more shelves will help.
