Durango Downtown Inn

The facility was nice enough but there were some notable problems. First the wi-fi didn't work most of the time. Second the TV wasn't high-def which I would have expected considering how much I was paying. Third the offerings at breakfast were very meager. I've stayed at hotels which charged much less but offered more for breakfast. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and tried their best to be helpful. I did find that the location was very convenient for both exploring the downtown area as well as hopping in your car to go somewhere else. There are other hotels even more centrally located but they charge much more. Overall I'd give it a mixed review.

We booked this motel for a short getaway. It was walking distance to historic downtown Durango; we parked our car at the motel and never moved it until we left to go home. Our room was extremely clean, with plenty of nice quality towels, and the air conditioning worked very well during our 95 degree weather. The shower was very clean and had great water pressure. It would be even better if the rooms had mini-fridges and if there were a bit more choices for breakfast (coffee, granola bars, and oatmeal were available), but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location but noisy from other guests outside my room.

A young child was yelling at full voice and literally screaming off & on at maximum volume for about 20 minutes between 9:30 &10 at night. Exterior wall/window (facing the courtyard) barely muffled this brilliant example of poor parenting. I felt the management should have stepped in. If I'd planned on leaving early to ski I would have been really angry not just annoyed.

Great hotel that's right by downtown Durango. Making it very easy to walk to Main Street.

This hotel was very clean and quiet and the rooms were comfortable and fairly spacious.

Desk staff very helpful ; gave good recommendations for transport , restaurants , etc

Close to downtown and riverwalk.. Very nice location

My family had a very pleasant experience at the Durango Downtown Inn. The atmosphere and staff are very nice, friendly, and helpfull. They also have knowledge of the area and are able to help assist in providing recommendations for food and things to do in the area.

Clean, comfortable hotel close to the historic downtown area. Unfortunately no breakfast, but lots of eateries close by in the downtown area. Also, no fridge or microwave in the room.

Nice hotel, downtown and close enough to walk to all the bluegrass venues.

Great location!! Within walking distance of downtown and grocery stores.

If you want a cheaper price and you need to be close to bars, restraunts, and shops this is the place. The room was very clean and decent size. The toilet did not work and staff immediately fixxed it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We did want to enjoy the jacuzzi and pool, but the jacuzzi was broken and the indoor pool was quite chili. Overall good stay and I would recommend it because of the staff cleanliness and location.

This is a great hotel at an affordable price. The rooms are basic, clean and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is located near downtown durango which is nice for late night bar hoping

There is an Applebee's right on the premises, but it does not open until lunch time so breakfast is not convenient.

very helpfull staff with plenty of ideas for places to eat and visit. A very good "Motel" very clean and everything you need for a short stay,

Room was clean and well appointed with the necessities for staying comfortably for a few days.

Basic hotel. Within a five minute walk to Main Street area

Great location, very good pool. Could use some new carpeting - but overall the room was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to downtown and right on the Animas River Trail!

Just stayed one night. Great location, nice front desk staff. did not use any of the amenities. Made my reservation on this travel site (I tried to use the name of the site, but it would not allow me too) a couple weeks in advance and the hotel had to call this travel site (begins with an "O" and ends with a "z") when I checked in because the hotel had not received my reservation info.
