We stayed in the Master suite- which the room was absolutely gorgeous!! The staff and amenities were what made me knock down 2 stars. First there was no phone in our room to call the front desk so we ended up saving the front desk number in our phones. This wouldn’t normally have been an inconvenience if we didn’t have to call them so many times since our room kept missing things. The TV was hard to set up for streaming from our devices. There were no cushions for the outside patio- and they didn’t even bring them until we called for the 2nd time after the sun had already rose the next day. This was very upsetting because the main reason we booked that room was to watch the sunset on the beautiful patio in the morning. We were still able to standing, but we wanted to use the patio that we payed to use… but it wasn’t furnished properly as advertised. When dining in the restaurant, we felt very neglected as hotel guests- given that our waiter helped us very few times, while the waiter at the table behind us was very attentive.
We are not at all the type of people to complain- but this visit was so upsetting to the point that we feel we have to speak up about it. We travelled internationally for the weekend expecting full relaxation for our 10 year anniversary and we feel the resort did nothing to make us feel special.
The resort is absolutely beautiful, but the staff and hospitality definitely needs help.
