Was clean and nice. I would stay again. Convienient location and easy to get around. Free parking was nice too

This hotel wasn't near Dublin but was a short drive in. It was right across the street from a mall. Downstairs was a nice grocery store which is where we had our breakfast every morning. It was a nice place to walk around too. Our room had a great deck too and an awesome view of the sunset. The bed was very comfortable.

Stopped at Maldron Tallaght in July 2014 for one night. Very handily located across the road from Shamrock Rovers. Check in was really smooth with helpful staff. Room a good size and a good comfy bed. Bar was big and comfortable and reasonably priced for Ireland. No room service for food after 9.30 as chefs finished but staff let me have pizza delivered and the hotel is really close to a shopping centre with plenty of food outlets. Staff helpful in directing me to the bus station to get the airport bus. Breakfast lovely lots of choice for veggies, fruit yogurt and 'Full English' if you are that way inclined. Only slight negatives- Wifi patchy Some noise from the roads

Hallways were hot, room had unpleasant odor. Party in lobby when we arrived, noone at reception to buzz people in from carpark. Other than that an okay stay, we only slept there anyway.

The hotel is modern, but the staff friendliness and amenities such as the breakfast needs some work. All the other hotels I have stayed in Ireland have exceptional staff friendliness - however this one it seemed just like they were doing there job and not creating that special feeling. Breakfast was often in disarray with one often waiting for items in the buffet. The supper menu was very good value and the food was very tasty

I've stayed at this hotel before and the staff couldn't have been any nicer or more accomodating. The bar/restaurant is nice and relaxing. The bed was cozy and when I needed more towels they were at my door within 5 min. The Luas (public transportation) was a 5 min walk away and just a 25 min ride into the city. I will definitely come back.

Good value and great amenities, but wait staff in restaurant is not so good and food is a little overpriced. There are many good food options very close by though. The Square is just across the street. I would definately stay here again!

Hard to really say too much about the hotel as I was only there to sleep, but it worked well enough for that. Room was clean, comfortable. A 5 minute walk to the Luas followed by a 45 minute ride on the Luas gets you to Dublin City Center, so if you are looking to save some money on a hotel and not stay in downtown Dublin its a nice enough alternative. Only downside is if you plan on staying out real late the last Luas back to Tallaght is 12:30 in the morning, so if you want to be out late and hitting pubs to last call you'd have to take a taxi back to the hotel (run ya about 20 Euros from city center)

Originally we went to Ireland to visit Dublin, and from the hotel about 40 min. by tram. The tram was very easy to use, but also a little extra expense. Overall the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The restaurant in the hotel was a little cold, both morning and night. I understand on saving heat, but dress warm. if you don't mind traveling to see attractions, it is a good idea. Also do not plan on taking a texi from the airport, it is a distance, but there is a bus that stops very near by.

Very good price for what you get. Next to Supermarket which was convenient. Lightrail is right down street. Staff was so friendly.

Hotel was great price! Great to be next door to supermarket. Easy to get on lightrail down the street to get into the city of Dublin. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel seems like someone said lets build a GREAT hotel and they did, and after it was done someones mom said "O your cousin bob needs a job put him in charge" and they did but Bob is lazy and doesnt care about anything, rooms are not kept as clean as they should, maintenance not kept up, no one keeps track of anything. MY room had lights hanging from cieling, clock was missing (no one replaced when I mentioned several times), needed a good scrub all over hotel, wardrobe was out of place, had a mouse in room. All simple fixable things that no one seemed to care about...its a shame would be good option if not for this. Its next to shopping mall for lil things you might need, near LUAS for EASY trips to dublin, and is far enough away from city its easy to drive out into the rest of ireland. One down side its near hospital, expect to hear many sirens as they go through intersection by hotel, its only for a few seconds but still.

At first I was worried about the location- but the hotel is very close to the LUAS that goes directly into the city. By taking the LUAS I got to observe the outer sub-burbs of Dublin. The ride to the hotel was beautiful because of the lovely countryside! The view from my balcony was a beautiful sight every morning! I will be back just because of the beautiful views!!

At first I was really scared because I thought this hotel was in the city center, and only once I arrived i found out its about half hour away! However there is a tram which they call the "Luas", which takes about 40 minutes to get into the city center. overall the hotel was great, wonderful price, hotel staff were really over and above nice. amazing pool, etc. I would def stay there again! Oh and we also had to go to the airport and there is a bus that comes and takes you directly to the airport it costs 9 euros and is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel lobby.

The Hotel was about 3min walk to the train station Luas. For only 6 euro for a day pass maes it very easy to get to Dublin. The Hotel staff was very help full in getting to and from the airport. To get to and from the airport to he hotel cost about 9 euro on the fly bus. All around good hotel.

Overall the service was good. Rooms were clean and met expectations. Wi-Fi was free, but spotty. Pool was very nice, but confusing as it actually belongs to the health club next door. Hotel is convenient to the LUAS, but plan on at least 45 minutes to get to the city center by tram.

The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was very close to the Luas (tram), which made it easy to travel into Dublin. The pool and hot tub were great. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.

The hotel is in a very bad part of the town, Tallaght. My cousin and I were harrassed twice riding the Luas, the tram to the city, and were afraid to go out at night because of the locals.

The first impression is pretty good, check in was fast and easy. But when you you start going upstairs to your room things change. The first thing I noticed was the floors. They are terribly stained and need to be vacuumed. The room was a bit smaller than I expected. I had reserved a King bed and got a full size. There is no alarm clock in the room, so bring your own. The room was not vacuumed and was dusty.Upon check out I asked for stamps, because the information card in the room said they could be purchased at the front desk. But they said they never have stamps. That was just disappointing. [...]Do not forget your converters. We did not bring enough and had to buy them from vending machines. Of all 6 machines in the building there was only one converter and throughout 9 days there they were never restocked.Don't bother with the restuarant. It is over priced compared to all the other places you can go so near by. The food was okay, but not really worth 10 euro. And the 2.50 for a small soda...If you are a tourist like we were, don't ask to much of the front desk. Only one woman was helpful with the Light Rail schedule. All the rest seemed to not understand me at all.But since we really didn't spend too much time in the room it was a great value for the money. It was close to public transportation and shopping, but not sight seeing.

the hotel was clean and up to date. Was a good location for us.
