Best hotel we stayed in thr whole trip in terms of comfort. Also there is a very short walk to a bus stoo that takes you into the city. Walji g around the protery at night privided wonderful views. Combined with a friendly staff we loved this hotel.

Large hotel. Rooms nice if available for less than $150. Good sports facility. Breakfast good. Dinner mediocre. Location distant from Dublin city and a confusing drive unless using GPS.

Customer service was good, but only members of the front reception team did an outstanding job. When we arrived, we were very hungry, so we checked in, had our room changed because it wasn't what we had booked for, and then went downstairs to the restaurant. When we arrived there, the hostess asked if we had made a reservation, and when we told her we were not made aware at check in that this had to be done, she said we should have made one because the room was all booked for dinner, but that it was empty then, so they would accommodate us anyway....I felt like saying, "Well, gee, thanks" after the experience with her. The room was well appointed and clean (the second one - the first one smelled like Doritos when we arrived in it). The front desk staff helped, but the hotel does not have shuttle service to the airport, so we could not drop off our rental early before our insanely early flight the following day at checkout. Traffic in the area is very high volume at rush hour.

had a nice stay........................................

Lousy. We had an unexpected trip and booked last minute because of the pool. What they don't tell you is that the pool is only open for kids between 9-6. We got there at 6 and while there was NO ONE in the pool, we weren't allowed to bring our kids in. When we arrived with suitcases, no one greeted us, no one took the bags. I got my own trolley, brought them in, and then brought them up to my room. At "Ireland's Best Hotel" this seemed pretty lame. We had a king sized bed and a single in the room advertised as an "executive twin" but were told we had to get a second room for our kids. This turned a good deal into a bad deal for us. The staff was also quite unhelpful. They didn't know bus routes/prices to the neighboring village, and gave terrible directions to the bus stop. Overall feel was snobbery not warmth. Also, it cost 40 Euro to get from the airport. So it wasn't close enough to be convenient for a close trip.

Very nice hotel with helpful friendly customer service..good sized rooms.... comfy beds...would stay again and reccomend to others. It is about a 30-45 minute drive into Dublin.

The hotel stay was great. Staff was great and food was good. Drinks were okay and not served quickly but okay. Beds were comfy-cozy. All went well. The hotel was far from town...inconvenient.

Definitely not a four star hotel, as advertised. Rooms are hot, and the bed only has a down comforter on it - no top sheet or light blanket, so you are either too hot or too cold at night. Wash cloths were not provided in bathroom - we had to ask for them every day, otherwise, the housekeeping staff would remove and not replace them. The restaurant was outrageously expensive, and the food was mediocre. Wi-fi did not work in the room, however, we were able to connect to the Internet via a cable provided by the hotel, and Internet access was free. Carpet in hallways was filthy, but the room was clean. Hotel is a little out of the way - 8 miles from the city center, but parking is free - parking in Dublin is VERY expensive. Overall, a good value, but if you are expecting a four star hotel, go elsewhere.
