the staff were very helpful. great location. breakfast was great.

There for our honeymoon. Next to a thumping nightclub (we were on the first floor), toilet lid interfered with the door opening, few inconvenient electrical outlets. Generally outdated. Good location, however.

Loved all the close sites, restaurants, and ease to catching buses around town.

Our family arrived early around 10am, although check in starts at 2pm they gave us our room right away. Location is very important, few minutes walk to restaurant and shopping areas, hop on/off is a block away, airlink bus which takes you to/from airport is a minute walk and all kinds of Asian restaurants just at the back of the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean, I like that the shower is a step in not a tub. Hot and cold breakfast great. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

The drawback to the property is that there are no handicapped entrance. I was in a wheelchair and I needed someone to open the door for me when I went in and out. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was good every day.

Good stay and hotel. Location was great in the middle too.

I like the hotel bar. It's like a Irish pub and the staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. The beds we're a little small for my liking.

This property is in the perfect location right off of O’connell street. The Airlink bus stop is directly across the street and there is easy access to the Hop On Hop Off bus. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. The bar staff is AMAZING and super friendly. If I have to mention a negative I will say the rooms are small but that’s to be expected. The hotel is within walking distance of pretty much every tourist attraction. Will definitely stay again!

In my opinion, this hotel was a bit uneven. Although it was generally spotless, we found what seemed to be used wet towels in our room when we checked in, and toilet paper was scarce. Also, management seemed a bit disorganized. As an example, AFTER already paying in full at check in, and then charging two meals to my room without any problem, when I charged a third meal to my room a manager actually approached me during the meal to incorrectly state I had no credit card on file with them (untrue, and also humiliating). I felt like they were insinuating I was trying to steal a meal. When I pointed out that I had already charged two earlier meals to my room without problem, proving they had my card on file already for additional charges, they gave me a BS explanation. These issues aside, however, the hotel is well-located, and the food (including a generous breakfast buffet) was excellent.

Location good to tour Dublin. Staff very friendly and our room was ready early so we could stow our bags easily upon arrival.

For the budget conscious that still want a very clean and well maintained hotel.

Hotel was nicely decorated, clean and located centrally in the city center. Close to attractions, tours and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfact buffet as well.

Great location, right off of Main Street in Dublin. Was center of most everything we done in town. Friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is undoubtedly one of the best options in the Dublin area. Conveniently it's located just down a more quiet street off O'Connell, and also right by an airport bus-stop. The facilities have a modern and clean feel, and the room has a thermostat for temperature control (including AC). Our window needed repair, it didn't quite close after we had opened it, and was the only very minor issue we had with our stay. Staff were all wonderful.

The hotel was located in an excellent area and was a quick walk to most of the major attractions. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Would definitely recommended!!

The Academy hotel is located in a very convenient area of Dublin, near may attractions and close to hop on hop off buses and other tour bus company pick up stops. The hotel and room were great for our family of four staying for a week.
