It is a nice hotel, nice stay, but nothing fancy, everything is clean The Location is excellent. Aircoach from airport (6 Euro each way) has a stop O'Connell which is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. There are many city buses and tour buses have their stops around within 5 minutes walk. Trinity college, temple bar area is about 15-20 minutes walk.

Great location, easy walking distance to most places. Close to hop on hop off buses that run constantly everyday. Close to car rental agency and parking garage. Overall good place.

Overall, the hotel was good. The location really takes the cake. Rooms are small and have an old feeling. The staff was excellent and was incredibly helpful.

Good hotel in downtown Dublin, easily walkable to multiple attractions. Staff was very friendly, hotel was in very good condition. Our room for 2 people was very small, but clean.

Located centrally. Access to everything. Staff very helpful.

Great hotel, great location, great staff. Citylink bus (from the airport) drops you off right outside it. Check out "the living room" bar next door!

Only stayed one night but was a pleasant stay. Only issue was having to pay for parking. Staff very friendly and helpful!

great hotel close to city center, no fridge or ice machine. ac was not always spot on

I go to Dublin often, and always stay here. Easy access to and from airport. Heart of the city easy to walk to city center. Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel's central location is extremely good but Dublin all at once rather that a little at a time has been under construction for they say the last three years which hampers everything. Still and all it was a good trip and I will be back.

I enjoy staying at the Academy Plaza just off O Connell Street. The hotel is in a superb location steps to Dublin's City Centre. The room was very comfortable and quiet..Hotel staff very approachable and professional would highly recommend staying here. 2 thumbs up

Room was clean and staff very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend to a friend and would stay here again. Only down side is night club next door and you can hear the music from it. Not overly loud, I was on the fourth floor, but it was there. I think the club is only open to midnight or 1 am so it wasn't all night and did not keep me from sleeping.

The front desk staff was a bit under staffed and we waited over 20 minutes to get checked in. We had a few bad attitudes at the front desk and few great people so it was a mixed experience. The rooms were nice and comfy, the breakfast was expensive so we jjust ordered a few coffees and went exploring. A great location to see the heart of Irleland and within walking distance to lot of interesting stuff.

The room was very nice, clean and the Wifi worked great..Location near shoping and the Pubs.Bus stop was close.

The hotel was clean, the room was a little small but it did not matter. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, helpful and caring. The breakfast was very good and not very pricey. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown Dublin within waking distance of the main attractions. We will be return to this hotel if we have a chance.

I was given a smoking room. It smelled bad the entire time.

Very close to the heart of the city, tour bus worth the money, don't miss the beer place nor the Jameson tour. Hotel clean, modern, reasonably priced, good breakfast.

Breakfast does not start early enough. Early bird travelers will be disappointed with breakfast. Outstanding location. Walking distance from all important restaurants and public areas

Pros: Location, Amenities, friendly staff, Comfy bed, price, breakfast good Cons: Doors slam no matter what super loud, annoying neighbors wouldn't stop opening and closing there door. Breakfast super expensive, internet super slow!

Very helpful reception staff! Great location. Building could possibly use a little updating, but nothing major needed.
