Upon arrival the office was closed. After calling the attendant we were given a room that was occupied. At 1 am this could be dangerous for both parties. After complaining to Orbitz and Orbitz calling the attendant Javier he accused me of being drunk. The Orbitz rep then blatantly asked if I was drunk. Javier was asleep when I called and tried playing his mistake off on me. Beyond that there was only one bed and was supposed to be two. I do not like having my room unlocked upon arrival as it was. Javier has yet to correct any of this.
They were supposedly booked full even though I had reserved a room a week in advance. They then tried putting us in a room that was like a garage converted to a room to sleep in. The door had a 3-4 inch gap on the bottom to the outside, the bathroom was dirty and I can't even explain how they put it together. A propane tank was in there hooked up to burners on a counter. This room was definitely breaking many code violations and I can't believe they would risk their business by trying to out someone in here. Ask for room number 8 and see for yourself. We wished we had taken pictures.
The room was very clean. Make sure you bring shower supplies as they are not provided, with the exception of towels. Only dislike was they were never at the front desk.
Cool quaint caving getaway. Girlfriend and I were out of town on a motorcycle ride and it was the perfect place to sleep for the night
We arrived at 3:15 to find a clock face on the locked office door that said "Back at 4" (or maybe it meant 5, the hour hand on the clock was between 4 and 5). We waited until 5:15 and nobody showed. We called the motel number and the recording at first said, "The party is not answering.". Later we called again and this time the recording said, "This number is not in service.". We also got a text message to call a number regarding the reservation, but the person refused to identify himself or who he represented. This is service???
