Older Hotel with low ceilings that made it look small. Tiny Breakfast area and not enough parking. Everything seemed old and used. This place needs a make over. The placed seemed dark and dirty. Front desk also charged our room to another persons credit card. 1 week later the hotel is still trying to work that issue out. Paid about 120.00 per night. NOT worth it. It seems more like a lower end place. Plenty of other hotels around. I will try a different one next time I am there.
We were on a group motorcycle ride. We needed 4 rooms so we called ahead and were quoted a price that was just a little higher than what was listed online. We thought it was a good deal because the clerk said that was the total (including tax and our discounts). So we show up the next day and get the same quote. We checked into our 4 rooms and went to dinner. The rooms were mostly clean but our room had a problem with the curtains. I don't know what was all over the curtains and sheers but it looked AWFUL! Some remodeling had been done but wasn't finished so I'm hoping it was paint streaked on the curtains. I was afraid to smell of them! The bathroom door wouldn't completely close and the doorknob on the inside of the bathroom was about to fall off. We didn't complain until we looked at our bill that was slid under our door the next morning. We were charged $15 more than what we were quoted! Since everyone heard the same thing, we talked to the manager. She was NOT present when the clerk made the quote to us but she proceeded to basically call us all liars! We were not the only ones that this happened to - another older couple walked up and said they had a problem with their bill and it was even more than ours was. I can tell you that there was many disappointed and angry people that left the hotel that morning. We were lied to but yet - we were called liars! I can promise that we will not stay at the Comfort Inn in Dickson again. Too bad - sometimes we need 8 - 10 rooms! ALSO, after mentioning that the room rates on the website were lower than what they charged us, the price on the website was changed immediately.
Stayed 1 night as a stop on our way to Pigeon Forge. We had a room on top floor (#322) with 2 queen beds. Our room was clean but very small for 4 people & luggage. The front desk personnel was friendly & helpful. Our room was quiet but small. Bathroom very small but for the price it was ok. Breakfast was average but again small area. I would stay here again but not with 4 people in one room.
Our tour group of 48 people stopped at this Comfort inn in Dickson. The staff went out of their way to make us all welcome. The manager, Sheila Arnold, made us all feel so at home with her warm interacting personality. We all congregated late afternoon before dinner in the lounge area, playing cards, snacking and just feeling comfortable in this environment. Rooms had everything we needed. Great staff.
This place is terrible. The rooms are nice but its ruined by the fact that every time someone showers or flushes the toilet, it will wake you up. its that loud. Then when I tell the evening clerk, she just laughs and says some rooms are louder than others. Didnt offer to switch me. She was more interested in watching youtube videos with her hillbilly boyfriend in the lobby. Yes theres dating in the lobby too. Never again.
We had a fine night stay at this Comfort Inn. Pet fee was reasonable at $20. Breakfast was nothing special but at least we didn't leave hungry. Roomwas clean and beds were comfortable. If I were passing through, I'd stay here again.
Excellent friendly profesiinal service from staff. Very clean. Breakfast was good with strawberry waffles and real eggs. There aren't many tables in the dining area. The indoor pool is nice. The hours are 6-10.
Full explanation to follow, but because its a bit long the short version is I had to make a reservation for a block of rooms twice here (they lost it the first time) and even then they did not meet the terms that we agreed upon. If you are making a block of rooms for any reason make sure to get EVERYTHING, even the smallest details in writing or they will screw it up. Full story: I am getting married at the end of this month, but had a long engagement. I made a block of 50 rooms at this hotel over a year in advance, but made the mistake of not getting a printed contract. Come time when my future mother in law calls to make a reservation they tell her that no such block exists. I call the next morning and get it straightened out . At this point I'm thinking that they're nice people for working with me to fix the problem, but am still weary so I drop by to get a printed contract. When I spoke with the manager, Shelia, I clarify that I am blocking off 50 rooms for this particular weekend. She took my credit card, but stated that in order for me not to be charged for the rooms she would release them 2 weeks prior, fine. This, however, did not somehow make it into their system as 3 weeks before the wedding my maid of honor calls to reserve a room and is told that the whole place is booked. I call to check and find that they did not, in fact make a wedding block that gives you a group rate AND hold the rooms I stated for my guests (as she had told me and as common sense would dictate). No, they only put a group rate with our name and the hotel rooms were first come first serve . I was told that after the release date they would be first come first serve, but before this they would be held. The manager maintained that I did not give her my credit card and she had told me of this fact, even though no one with common sense would make a block of rooms for a wedding that weren't actually going to be held for their guests. Not only did she not attempt to fix the problem in any way, she was very rude about it and kept talking over me and essentially just blaming me for the mistake. I cannot speak to the actual quality of the rooms or stay at the hotel, but would tell anyone making a block of rooms with them to be EXTREMELY careful.
Attached is a photo of what I was greeted by on turning on the light in my room. This kind of inattention to detail is tough not to notice. The check-in and check-out experience were OK. As was the overall stay. But, something like the chair? Unreal. Especially at a Comfort Inn!
Room was clean. Breakfast buffet was great. Pool was small but clean. Would've loved a hot tub to relax in after a long day which a nearby hotel had which was only 2 driveways away. Internet connection was horrible though asking every 20 seconds if I wanted to reconnect.
