Place is very small definitely not worth 300 tub only for one person beds very uncomfortable just not a luxury place

The staff was very nice and welcoming, the room is different and came with a robe and slippers which was nice. They charge for parking regardless if you park in the front or the gated area which is ridiculous. The soap is very drying and the walls are paper thin. Besides that, it’s in close proximity to down town which is nice, overall experience was okay.

A bit outside of downtown, but very good value for money. Simple rooms with comfortable beds. Staff is fantastic; especially Darren at the front desk

I know it was a less expensive option than some other choices but it was a big disappointment still. Paper thin walls( we heard not just our nieghbors but probably the 5 closest rooms), cold concrete floors, skimpy decor that says theyre trying modern but falling flat. No coffee maker in the room. The man who checked us in seemed very new and was more concerned with his earing dinner than anything else.

It was all good..the clerk was a little bit slow in helping the guests

Paper thin walls, no amenities, rooms were not ready by check in, restaurant closed early with no notice.

Close proximity to to the downtown area. Right off the major freeway

Very hip hotel, great artwork everywhere, helpful staff

The hotel is well kept. It does seem a little sparse & cold in the rooms.

This hotel truly needs a pool and they need to petition the city of Detroit to put a Starbucks in the area.

First, the hotel seemed to be under construction and not that clean overall premises. My room was like a bad, wanna be hip, uncomfortable experience. And I shouldn’t have to pay for parking, which was $25 a day, they should have paid me. I think the best, most interesting part of the hotel was the restaurant. The kitchen seemed meticulous compared to the rest of the hotel. If dirty, wanna be hip, motel is the ultimate Detroit feel - I will not be returning to this motel for business.

Overall I was impressed by Trumbull & Porter. Room was small, simple and comfortable. Unique furnishings and decor throughout the property. Red Dunn restaurant is not to be skipped. The courtyard looks like a great place to catch up with or make new friends. Starting to see some wear and tear already. Nothing that a recommitted management team couldn’t fix easily.

A young, hip renovation. No frills, but a lovely stay.

Good location. Great staff. Nice bar/restaurant in hotel.

Staff was very kind and check in was a breeze. The room was very cute and clean. Hotel location is fairly close to some great restaurants. The only downside was we had to pay for overnight parking at the hotel.

So overpriced. Terrible tv package. Out of the way. You can do much better in Detroit

Thank you for sharing your experience. I haven't seen a 300 price here so I wonder if there was a mix up in hotels.

Hi Anonymous, sorry you didn't have a good stay with us. While we do offer complimentary ear plugs for lighter sleepers, I do understand if noise was an issue to you. We'll be sure to revisit staff policy for eating - front desk staff are not to eat during their shifts unless someone is available to cover the desk while they use a break room.
