Great place to stay. Great location! Friendly staff, beautiful and unique rooms. 10/10 would recomend!

Super cool place. Great location. So much more. We always stay here when we can. Although they charge to park in their lot, street parking is available and free. No big deal. It just catches some folks off guard.

I loved all of the décor! It was very unique! I fell as though I walked into a castle. Every room greeted you a with such class and warmth! Crystal was very welcoming to the Inn! One thing they could improve on would be the breakfast. Our 1st morning there we had a good hot breakfast the 2nd morning we were there did not even compare. They seemed to be a little under staffed. One thing I'm did not notice in the description was no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor and luckily my husband and I are both pretty healthy so it was no problem for us. There could be a problem if someone was in a wheelchair or using a Walker. We're planning on going back! It's a beautiful quaint and perfectly located B and B!

It is a beautiful place, with luxurious style from a bygone era, but with a thoroughly modern bathroom. The location is great, just a short walk to Little Caesar’s Arena.

This place is really beautiful and we loved that we could forego driving to LCA and stroll on down from our room. We skipped the private parking business and parked free across the street (which was very quiet). Like another reviewer mentioned, more opaque curtains in the bathroom would have made me feel less exposed and towels that weren't bleached into medium grade sandpaper would be an improvement but those are small criticisms against my family's unanimous approval of the Inn. I'd definitely recommend this spot and would stay here again.

The location was ideal for our trip to the Fox Theatre. We could walk right around the corner and be on the main strip. The building is gorgeous and beautifully restored. The staff was courteous and helpful. We were however very disappointed in the breakfast and parking company they use. When we arrived, due to an event going on at Little Caesars, we were aggressively pressured to let the parking attendant keep our car keys! When I refused he got extremely rude and didn't want to let me get out of my car! It definitely left a poor impression.

it is unique and beautiful unlike a conventional hotel

Very unique experience, wonderful art and opulent rooms. 100% would recommend.

Incredibly unique! 3rd Party service provider (massage therapist) brought down the whole experience.

We stayed here for our wedding night. The staff were very nice and the rooms were beautiful. I had no idea it existed until we found it on Orbitz. It was very nice and I would stay again for sure!

Loved the quaintness of this property. Loved the decor and beautifully decorated rooms.

This restored house is amazing, with woodwork and antiques that are beautiful to see. The staff went over the top to make our stay enjoyable, and we will be looking for excuses to get back to Detroit so we can stay there.

The Inn was great. Having to pay $25 to park in their lot was not. It's probably best suited for a longer stay than overnight so one can truly appreciate how grandly wealthy people live.

Beautiful old converted mansion very close to the QLine for easy access to Wayne State University as well as Downtown. The door locks could use an upgrade, and the curtains in the bathroom could have been less sheer. Otherwise, it was a beautiful hotel and a wonderful stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly, great location. Snacks in the evening was very classy and even included a glass of wine...WOW. Overall wonderful experience. History of the inn was fascinating. This place is a hidden gem. I would like to say if your looking for a fancy modern hotel like a Hilton with all the frills, this is not your hotel. This is a place for historic buffs, conversationalist and all out laid back people.
