We chose this property for its location and it’s ratings were better than the other hotels in the immediate area. The toilet broke and we were unable to reach housekeeping, front desk or operator, we had to deal with the toilet problem until checkout.
I booked a suite with 2 queen beds as it was my husband, myself, and 2 16 year old boys that would be occupying the room. When we got there late that night, we'd been given a room with 1 king bed and 1 twin size pull out bed. I called down to let them know about their error and they said because I booked through Orbitz they were only required to give me best available, not what I asked for. Keep in mind, I booked this a month in advance. She said they were completely booked and had no roll out beds that we could use. So we ended up having to leave and drive 2.5 hours home in the middle of the night. Horrible experience and I don't know who is at fault, Orbitz, or the hotel.
Good place. Near the fun areas of Denver, without being in the downtown area
Staybridge is best IHG Brand, a little pricey at Stapleton
Nice hotel. Next to lots of restaurants and shopping.
This hotel is one of the best places I've stayed. The staff was incredibly helpful and the free food helped us save money on our trip.
the first room that they sent me to had not been cleaned: messed up bed and food on counter. The second room was clean when I arrived, but my room wasn't cleaned for 2 days...also, the toilet was broken-after I reported it brokem, the manager (not a maintenance person) "fixed" it, but left me a note stating "the handle sticks but it should be o.k." I ran out of towels, the toilet water kept running. I went to main lobby to report that my room hadn't been cleaned again and there was a lady down there with her son who had been bitten up all over his arms and chest from bed bugs!! I really wanted to leave the hotel but couldn't get a refund. Thank goodness my room did not have bed bugs, but this poor kid was eaten alive. I would never stay there again. Also, very understaffed. They have 1 person trying to serve breakfast to the guests-they kept running out of food-the garbage was overflowing, all of the tables were dirty. They're understaffed and unorganized.
It was a very nice and clean hotel. Close to shopping areas which was nice. They did not have a fan in the bathroom which would have been nice but other than that I have no complaints.
The hotel was awesome. Super clean, bed was comfortable, and I loved having a fridge and microwave in room. I would highly recommend this hotel. I only wish it was closer to downtown Denver but it was perfect for our stay.
