Definitely needs a lot of maintenance. Shower heads are not for anyone over 5’6”. Shower faucet ran and never shuts off. FYI no pool.

Wonderful location, but we've stayed in other hotels nearby that provided a lot more "bells and whistles" for the same price. If you are looking for a nice place to stay that is right on 16th street and convenient to the Performing Arts Complex, this is a good choice. Here are some of the complaints we had: Only one coffee mug, slight sewage smell in the room, no shower cap (maybe I'm the only one that uses those anymore?), and the heat could only be lowered to 66 degrees, which made the room a bit toasty during the night. Another issue we had was our room not being ready until about 4:30-5:00pm, which was a bit stressful since we had to get changed and ready and be at our show venue by 5:30pm. Overall, there was nothing really bad about the place, however, I would probably wouldn't stay again unless nothing else was available.

Nice hotel to crash at on the mall, easy access to SoDoSoPa and all that gentrification has to offer

Excellent location right on 16th st. with professional employees and a very clean updated aesthetically pleasing place to stay. A real unexpected bonus was there onsite restaurant which had a great happy hour menu as well as a fantastic breakfast menu. My wife and I had lots of eating choices along 16th street but after checking the menus at several others, Courtyard by Marriot had the best menu for higher quality appetizers, food and our breakfast too. I have been to this area several times in the past few years and am happy to pass this insider info to other travelers that want a great location & hotel service as well as some of the best dining with quality menu selections. Thank you, Marriot !!!

When we arrived on Friday, we were put in a room that had the headboard of the bed against the Elevator shaft, it was very noisy. I asked to be moved. The clerk was not very friendly. She found us a room on the next floor up and told me the hotel is full for the weekend and that was all she could do. That room was even worse. The room had a constant loud humming sound and vibration from the ventilation system that is on top of the hotel. The heater in room had a fan that squealed every time it came on. We got no sleep even with earplugs. In the morning, we checked out a day early and were not offered any kind of compensation We had asked to have the parking fee's reversed and have the manager call us. We have not heard from them. We had paid in advance so we lost out on the Saturday room charges as well. That was the worst $400+ I have ever spent! I would not recommend this hotel and will be very hesitant to pay a booking in advance thru Orbitz!

Wasn’t near as nice as the pictures. Wallpaper coming off.

We have stayed at this hotel a bunch on Xmas Eve because of the location. Well very different if you book thru Orbitz! We had a room facing an alley, the sink was not clean, & on the 2nd floor. I'm a Marriott rewards member and my preferences are a high floor which wasn't recognized. I asked the guy who checked us in if it was a good Christmas room and he said yes, I also asked if there was a good deal for the next night as we may want to stay another night. He said "nope"! So we checked out on Xmas and went to another hotel and they gave me a 16th floor room facing the May D&F tower all lit up. That was a Christmas room!

The hotel location was great and close to the stadiums. The people were great but the bed was hard as a rock and I woke up with a sore back every day. Update the mattresses and it would be a great hotel.

WE loved the high ceilings, spacious room and giant window! Beautiful historic building in a great location with easy access to tons of things to do!

Displeased with an early check in. Given the worst room in the hotel. We got to share our weekend with workers on the roof right outside our window. The hotel is tired. Even the showerhead in our bathroom is old, it's brand printed where I could read it while bathing said "Anderson 2005". The walls are thin. We got to learn all about our next door neighbor's work related trials and tribulations long into the night until I finally had no choice but call the desk for assistance (which was ably and promptly provided) to end the nocturnal lamentations.

I was in town for a conference this week and stayed at the Courtyard for my first night in town as the conference hotel was booked that night. I've stayed in plenty of Courtyard Marriotts in the past and tend to enjoy them. Unfortunately, not this time. Despite the high nightly rate (over $400 for just the one night, including tax), it was definitely on the lower end in quality, if not the worst. The bathtub was clogged and wouldn't drain after my shower. My mom and infant joined me for the trip and the crib that was delivered to the room didn't come with sheets. When I asked for one, I was told that they didn't have sheets for the crib (have never encountered that before!), but was offered a blanket that I used as a makeshift sheet for the crib mattress. To cap it off, the carpet was filthy. So much so that my infant's pants were stained from crawling around the room. The staff is friendly and the location is great. You're right in the heart of downtown Denver and can easily walk to amazing restaurants and great shops. And I imagine the hotel is cheaper when there aren't a bunch of conferences in town. But I just can't recommend this hotel in its current state. It did look like they were doing renovations on the first floor of the hotel. Hopefully the rooms are next!

The location is great and the staff was really helpful. The restaurant also has a great menu and brunch options. Only downside was that the hotel was under renovation. The walls are also pretty thin so you could hear the other guests if they were loud.

Easy, friendly check in. Advice on what to do and where to go. Superb valet service. Allowed us to leave car in valet parking until 6p even after check out. Quiet and clean. First time and will return.

A very quiet, comfortable room. Starbucks and restaurant attached.

We spent two nights to catch ball games. Coors field is located in the walking distance from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops are nearby the hotel. We enjoyed sitting right outside of the hotel and listening to a street performer (trumpet).

I was shocked by the size of this room. The desk, which rest underneath the table, was a great amenity that allowed me to get a ton of work done.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly, hotel was nice and clean, and the location was perfect. The only drawback would be the parking. They do not have a parking garage so you eith have to pay for Valet or find your own spot. Overall I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Awesome , clean, friendly, very convenient to everything perfect area for everything.

Great place to stay downtown, close to concert venues and right on the 16th street mall. Didn't have to travel far from the hotel if we needed anything.

Dear Lynda, Thank you for your valuable feedback. I can not imagine how the tranquility, guest room experience, and lack of service recovery made you feel and I am sincerely sorry. Our team is certainly empowered to do all they can to make our guest experience most pleasant, we are sad we missed this opportunity, and again apologize. Please know that we did adjust your parking charges for your experience and communication was attempted. Curious if contact details passed on where incorrect. Lynda, we are confident this is an isolated incident, will utilize this as a tool to be even more effective, and hopeful to have an opportunity to work with you directly to regain some faith in us.
