good for lay over stay while waiting for your next flight

The Westin permits dogs on their property. Dogs are great. However the couple next-door decided to go to dinner and leave their dog barking in the room for over an hour. I called downstairs to get help from management and staff on three separate occasions to no avail. Finally I put clothes on ( I was in bed trying to sleep because I had a very early flight to catch) and went and tried to knock on the door to get the dog to settle down. It just made the dog angrier. I finally called for the fourth time and someone did come up right as the dogs owners sauntered to the room. I was furious. I told the Westin that I wanted my money back for the room and that this was unacceptable. They told me that they could move me to another room. At this point that would not of been necessary as the Dog owners had returned to the room and settled the dog down. I Would’ve moved rooms earlier had the Westin staff responded to my initial calls. It took them an hour to come up and try to remedy the situation, which is unacceptable. As a result we did not get to sleep until very late that night due to being abandoned by the Westin with this barking dog. It made for a very rough and long trip that had days worth of that ramifications due to lack of sleep. I have yet to hear back from them on this point.

I stayed here a few years ago and everything was top notch. From check in, room service and amenities offered. Talk about a total reversal to now. Based on my stay this time, there is no way I will be recommending this hotel any more. They couldn’t find our reservation at check in, and it was insane how long it took to find it and get our family checked in. The room itself is fine, a little dirty from a previous stay, but a nice room. But the room next to us had a dog staying in it which barked all evening, night and morning. Which was extremely obnoxious and loud. It kept our kids up and woke everyone up. I called down once and they offered to change our room. Which was kind but out of the question with three small kids already into bedtime. I am really disappointed, since this is our go to hotel here in Denver.

Great location to stay in Denver if you are flying out . Food was okay at their restaurant.

Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was helpful to be able to walk to the airport for our 5am flight!

Staff was incredibly kind. Check in was fast and easy.

What we liked was the architecture and modern interior design. The bed was very comfortable.

My husband stayed here the night before our flight and it was the best idea ever. Our room was very night and had great views. We went to both restaurants for drinks and loved them. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Loved this hotel!
