To many homeless around

This property has a lot of bad reviews about location, noise, etc. However, the location is fine (it's 1.5 miles from the heart of Denver) and we had no noise issues even on nights when there were concerts across the street. The property is not fancy at all, but for the price it worked out great.

I will grant check in was easy and the room was fairly clean. HOW EVER!!! The parking is very limited inside a fence. For 50ish rooms theres maybe 20? spots to park, 7 of those on a one way space that you cant get out of until the gates are unlocked the next morning. Overflow parking is in an alley behind a bar that the hotel doesnt own, no lights, no cameras, and lots of sketchy action. The hotel building is in need of tlc and furniture upgrade. Broken tiles in the elevator (which did run smooth), cement stairs are crumbling and sagging (i said what i said), and the lighting is poor on the motel style hotel (i.e.doors facing the outdoors). We didnt see any cameras on the resident floors that looked like they were actually functioning. So we checked in, but definitely did not stay.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. The area is extremely shady. There’s a 7/11 that touches the hotel lot and seemed very unsafe and was definitely not family friendly. There were people doing drugs in the open in the parking lot. Also, nothing about this hotel resembles the pictures online. It is a motel style with outdoor entrances that are not well lit. Pieces of the floor were missing in the elevator and our room. Many people are clearly living in the rooms here as well. Our room had burn holes all over the 2 beds as well as something that resembled bodily fluids. Absolutely disgusted. We did not stay the night and are working towards getting a refund with orbitz.

Always a great fun time staying at this property. Been staying on and off with this property for several years now. This year was my first trip back to the property in three years due to covid restrictions etc. The staff as always fast friendly and courterous on check in, the stay and check out every time. I just hope that they bring back their continental breakfast again sometime soon.

This is nastiest, and most poorly run hotel in the area. Horrible experience. I was charged for a night that I didn't even stay. They allow people who aren't even staying at the property to harass you, and bang on your door. Not to mention all the crackheads yelling at all hours of the night and day. Worst hotel experience I've had in 14 years of traveling to Denver.

Lots of homless an drug addicts hanging around. Over priced

never again

Parking lot was small; I felt lucky that I had a space. There was pot smoking outside of the rooms and the odor was evident when in my room. The staff was very nice. The area is a bit sketchy but I felt safe.

BEWARE... I know this is downtown Denver, but there are homeless people & people of "questionable substance levels" EVERYWHERE. They come from all over, but seem to hang around the motel area mostly. I saw a few walking through the halls, & I caught one of them trying to look through the curtains in my window. The only way to enter the hotel is through the front desk, so they are apparently not screening people, & I was never asked to present my card or proof of stay any time I entered (unless they recognized me). There was a car in the parking lot that had all flat tires & covered in dirt, & looked like someone was living in it, that was just there in a middle parking spot during my entire stay. The WiFi is TERRIBLE. When I called they said to choose "whichever one works best". There's no password, so it's just open to anyone, which is very unsafe. I booked a "City View" room, but was given a room on the opposite side from the city, with a view of 7-Eleven. I was quite busy on my trip and in the mountains all day, so didn't have the time or planning to move around, but when I called after, they said there was nothing they could do, because I didn't specifically mention it at checkout. All I asked for was one night's refund, which was probably about $45. So that's a testament to their customer service. I know it's a budget motel, but was overall still disappointing, because the issues I saw were general issues, & not specific to me, & also seemed easily resolvable.

I was advised when I checked in that there was a $100 security deposit required. I indicated my acceptance of the deposit. I paid for the first night and the deposit with my debit card. I stay an additional 8 or more nights. When I checked out I asked for my deposit. The clerk told me he did not charge my debit card for the $100 deposit even though my bank statement clearly indicated such a charge. I politely told him money was deducted from my account. He was adamant about not refunding me. In total disgust, I left the front desk. That evening I went to my debit card website to find out how to challenge the charge on my card. I saw that there was a pending $100 refund. So the jerk at the front desk was totally wrong. I did indeed pay for the deposit. He argued that I did not pay him. But I did. Be careful with these people. If you pay that deposit then demand a receipt for your payment. I will never stay at this place again.

Bad area full of homeless and drug addicts. Weekly staying occupants...

Never made the reservation and still got charhed. F-

The shower head was broken, no one did anything about it. There was no manager on site our entire stay.
