I was charged a misc fee on my credit card but I never purchased a thing while there and there defiantly was no damage. They will be hearing from me on that! There must be an overhaul happening in the hotel which I'm sure will improve it. The bed was hard as a rock and after working a trades how all day, that was the last thing I wanted. The train runs all night and the freeway is right outside also so bring your earplugs.

breakfast was great but........

The Breakfast was great, they have an egg/omelet bar but that was all that was great. The bathroom floor was filthy, and I killed at least 2 spider a day in the bathroom. The second night we came back to our room to find no bathmat, one bath towel and one hand towel - really - for two people. When we went to the front desk and informed the clerk she looked at us like a deer caught in headlights and said "Do you want to change rooms?" I looked at her and said "can't we just get some more towels?" The next night we came back to our rooms and the cups had not been replaced. Their cleaning staff obviously needs a check list. Our last night there someone went out the fire exit door at 12:30 am tripping a very loud alarm (We were on the first floor). It took the staff over 30 minutes to turn the alarm off. We were not that far from the font desk so I am positive they had to hear the alarm. All in all this was not one of our best hotel stays.

great staff, great sleep.

Two things we always judge hotels on, cleanliness and service. Our tub was plugged when we got there. So I was original going to mark the hotel lower, but the score was redeemed when the staff sent someone up in less than five minutes and fixed it. Rooms were clean, breakfast was free even with made to order omelettes. Staff was kind, informative and attentive.

great value

Conveniently located off of I-25 with great rates. Rooms have been remodeled nicely. Staff is friendly, housekeeping needs to be more thorough in their daily duties in the room. My one suggestion would be to purchase new towels. The ones they currently have are dated.

good value stay

The staff is very friendly and overall the room is clean. The room is a little bit small and I can hear the noise due to the location is next to highway. The location is perfect right next to the expo that I attended the event.

great staff

The people were the best part of this hotel. Definitely will need some transportation to get to the parts of the city or outlying areas that you'd want to see. But it makes for descent home base for a short stay.

better than average pool

This older hotel doesn't have the spacious bathrooms that are standard at 3 star competitiors that are part of remodeled chains. But the Pool is outdoor, heated, clean, and long enough to actually get in a few strokes before you hit the wall. The location is not good for walking anyplace but it is good for driving around Denver, close to freeway and close to downtown. Really quirky aspect of the bathroom: no towel bars, no place to hang a towel.
