Extended Stay America - Dayton - Fairborn

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The Good: Close to I-675 ramps and Fairfield mall area Friendly and helpful staff at the desk Located next door to a Frisch's restaurant. (best fish sandwich - ever) The Bad: Strong cigarette smoke smell in the halls Very dated with minimal fixups. Ironing board bent up, you'd have to ask for kitchen equipment for ancient stove. Wind blew into one window where seal was missing Would not sleep on stained sofa bed mattress - with any nbr of sheets. We stayed two nights because all decent hotel rooms were booked by color guard (or winter guard..??) Rest of our stay in Dayton these rooms were only $20 cheaper than Courtyard. They had rooms for rest of our trip. We moved.

nice, clean place to stay breakfast bar in morning is not much though

I had a delux 2 double beds room. The room size is much bigger than normal 2 queen beds room in other higher star rating hotel. The room is clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has stove, dishwasher, fridge and other things I need if I want to cook dinner. The staffs are very nice and friendly. The only thing not complete satisfied for me was the checkin was a bit slow. I'll stay at this hotel again if I need to visit the area again.

The stay was short wasn't really in the room a lot but was around so around all the places I needed to be. Awesome location.

The hallways were dirty , there was a smell in the hallways , the room was ok , but the smell from hallway leaked into room, I had a late night the night before and asked if I could get an extra hour before check out , very rude about it after that she said they have to charge me $10 dollars an hour ,, I can see if I wanted like 5 hours or more but one hour come on !!

Good value for the money. Not a luxury, but will satisfy all your basic needs.

i booked before reading many poor reviews. but i went in with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised and will stay there again . met all my needs i had my 3 grandsons and the kitchen saved me a bundle. the staff was very accomodating.

This hotel was very nice and a great value. Full kitchen and a large common area. Mattress was a bit too soft for our liking, but not uncomfortable. One problem was that a side entrance door would not fully close on its own, causing a potential security issue. We notified management, but the door was not immediately repaired (Memorial Day weekend). Excellent location near Wright State University and Wright-Patterson AFB. Also very close to some of the best shopping in Dayton.

The staff was very friendly and I thought the room was great for the price.

Conference nearby was great. Loved also the Yellow Spring Tye Dye festival, held annually for 1 Saturday. Try "The Winds" restaurant there for a nice eclectic meal. Garage sale-ing is also good. Nice friendly area for letterboxing and squished pennies too! As this is an "extended stay" place, they expect you to supply everything...like soap and shampoo, but they give you dish soap...go figure.

It was a great location and lot of room in the hotel room but not everything was clean in the kitchen, but everything else was clean.

MY FAMILY AND I ENJOYED THIS HOTEL AS A GET AWAY FROM HOME. WE ENJOYED THE OUTSIDE POOL, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SMALL. IT IS LOCATED BY SEVERAL RESTURANTS AND A MEIJERS. I HAVE BEEN BACK TO THIS HOTEL SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE IT FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AND VERY QUIET.

The room was due for renovation and the hall was being painted. It was efficient and suited my needs

The Extended Stay hotel is a somewhat "cleaner" dump-o-tel. Sheets had cigarette burns but that did not bother me (at least no com stains seen). TV was marginal with many channels that did not work. Place is old. All in all however, for the money it's worth it.

The Studio Plus Dayton is a comfortable hotel close to Wright Patterson AFB, Wright University and other museums. It is also very close to restaurants and other stores. The staff is pleasant and very helpful.
