Big room, nice views, good parking space and comfy bed
Great location, the staff was very friendly and helpful!
The property is darling and across the street from the beach. We tried to check in at 3 pm, and room was not ready. Clerk suggested we go next door and have something to eat and he would call/text in 30 min when room was ready. We had an appt at 6 in L.A. (2 hr drive with traffic), so we were cutting it close. We had dinner next door at a wonderful little bar/restaurant. Food was great and patio had beach view. After 75 min., we went back and clerk was gone. New staff didn’t know about calling. Finally checked in and missed my appt in L.A. Hotel was great, but a few quirks. Clean, close to beach, ‘free breakfast’ was as expected, Staff friendly and helpful, beds comfortable. Most rooms have ocean view, but partial obstructions. Overall, I would recommend this property, but don’t expect a Hilton.

We booked this suite with the intention of relaxing at the pool with my 2 year old granddaughter. The Pool was closed and she was very disappointed. The microwave sparked so we could not use. The underground parking was very tight for a pickup truck. Ocean view was recessed into the building and not private at all plus the pool was being worked on so workers were able to see us and we had to look past them to see the view.
Full beach view from our room! As soon as I voiced a concern or need it was promptly met. Absolutely calm staff.
The front desk staff on Christmas Day was phenomenal. He was so helpful and even called around to restaurants to see what might be open for us. He deserves a raise. Overall, all the staff were great. Hotel room was perfect. I would suggest a larger garbage can for the room but aside from that- amazing. The view was beautiful, great location.
This place was super cute! I didn’t even realize it was like having an entire apartment until we checked in. Would highly recommend.
Great property! This hotel is amazing and very convenient to visit Dana Point. Time your visit because during Summer time prices almost triple!!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast provided. Close walk to next door restaurants. Room was big and spacious with great ocean view. Only negative was bathroom needs updating. Grout was coming off and gnats were flying around, possibly coming from the sink. Overall decent value for price paid.
Amazing staff! Awesome views!! Perfect stay
Three hours before my arrival and checkin time, I received a call from Orbitz informing me that the Beachfront Inn and Suites cancelled my reservation due to overbooking. Orbitz worked with me to find me a replacement hotel, but the unexpected cancellation added a couple of hours of unneeded stress to my vacation to make last minute changes to plans. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this property.
The best part of our stay was how close we were to the beach. The least favorite thing was the couch bed. So uncomfortable & the mattress springs came through. Our car got broken into in the garage.
Property is conveniently located near Capistrano where e were attending a wedding earlier in the day. Furnishing are kind of basic. Our room was quite large. It had two king size beds and still had lots of space.

A very nice spot in Dana Point. Wonderful view of the beach at a reasonable price. More than just a room, with a separate bath and bedroom, two televisions. Very clean and well maintained property. On my list for my return trip in the spring!
