A five-star facility with a four-star staff (arrogant, slow) and relatively limited food options.

Great location. Good views. Staff friendly and attentive but then downhill. Mediocre food, overpriced, no pool service (said not enough people around), place could use facelift. Rooms small. God awful cheesy music (c’mon guys). Just doesn’t feel like Ritz. Montage property much better. Disappointing

Excellent hotel and allowed us to have a great long weekend. Would consider staying again.

I've stayed at other luxury hotels in the area and think this one is just ok. For the price we paid, we could have definitely stayed at a better luxury hotel for less money. It's fine, but definitely recommend looking at other options.

Great location. Amazing views and beach. Rooms are nice

Pool does not have a good view and the halls are narrow. Our room was dark.

Very disappointed in resturants service also poolside service berry poor was like stay at a best western hotel. Would recommend montage down street. Cost more but worth the extra money compared to service at ritz

We arrived right at checkin and we were made to wait. Not the best first impression BUT, the Ritz Carlton made up for it immediately! We were upgraded from a partial view room to a room that had a pool view and a patio that opened directly to the pool. We didn't request an upgrade! They did this on their own for our wait time. Everything else was super. Well worth the cost. Beautiful resort! Oh, and did I mention that they are super accommodating to families!

Above average rooms dated. Breakfast menu basic. Too many kids running around no supervision

Enjoyed every moment. Staff was friendly. View was priceless. Loves the amenities from the gym to the pool. We had a coastline view which was like an ocean view. Will definitely come here again... Food at The Raya and Corner Market was very good too.

For the price we paid it would have been comforting to have a coffee or expresso maker in the room. Our option was to pay $20 for 1/2 pot of coffee. Also no blow dryer in the room. Looking for quality accommodations. Could have paid half the room price and got more elsewhere. Lovely property and location. Staff was very accommodating

Stayed at this hotel for our brief honeymoon weekend. Perfect location, majestic setting, very alert staff. Hotel is on a bluff with great views and wonderful to watch sunset. The beach below is easily accessible. Hotel pool was also nice to relax poolside. Worth every penny of the stay.

My fiance and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The location is amazing and the staff is very generous and accommodating. I wanted to take the king size bed home with me.

Great location. However pool was small and no service at pool. Hotel was empty and yet they didn't offer us the slightest upgrade. Drinks and food were also crazy expensive.

The Ritz was incredible--our room had an outstanding view of the ocean and the beautiful beach and the room itself was deluxe--two sinks which was truly a treat, as well as a lovely outside balcony where we could sit and enjoy the Pacific Ocean. We will definitely be back.

Great location overlooking a bay on the Pacific. Easy driving to both LA and San Diego. Decent shopping in Laguna Beach. However, you really pay for the view and the Ritz Carlton name. Rack rate, plus resort fee, plus parking, plus taxes is a lot of coin for a 400 sq ft room for one night that has an obstructed view of a pool that no one uses. Our first room was dirty, food on the carpet, maids didn't show up with extra towels, etc. Moved to an ocean view, which was nicer, but still a fairly ordinary room. Sunday brunch was $450 for 5 of us. But it was good, and the view from the dining room makes it almost worth it. The staff was very accomodating, what you would expect from a five star hotel.
