The hotel was recently renovated and is bright and clean. The staff, while mostly friendly, is rather indifferent to cleanliness In public areas. Trash bins are full or overflowing. Guests leave trash on the table by the elevator and it sits there all night. The breakfast area can be downright disgusting, with the front desk clerk 20 feet away in full view of the overflowing trash bins. Coffee available 24 hrs, but creamer was empty for more than 24 hrs, two ice machines were out of order. Upon check-in, we were assured we would get stayover service on the second day. We did not, and the evening clerk was argumentative, insisting that we were wrong because it is not offered on Saturdays (the sign at the desk says differently, as dld our clerk at check-in). After all that pushback, he didn't even offer us fresh towels. When i asked for them, he made it clear it was am imposition because he was there to check-in new guests. The property is very nice for now, but with this level of indifference among multiple front office employees, i expect it to decline.
