The lobby had a lot of bugs in them. I understand some bugs can be normal but this particular lobby had tons of bugs in the waiting area and in the kitchen area

carpet in hallway is extremely dirty, deadbolt on room didn't work, bathroom light was burnt out, bathroom door doesn't fully close, TV remote control didn't work. We stayed several days and no way to have trash picked up so we had to leave it on the floor. When we reported the issues to the front desk, no offer for compensation. They have plenty of parking for guests but they say they charge $5.00/day for parking. Doesn't seem logical as it's a suburban hotel where parking is available.
We were so thankful the Manager let us bring our dog due to not having power for 4 days during the recent snow storm. The only negative thing was not having the hot breakfast in the mornings.
Had roaches the size of golf balls! Carpets smelled musty and old !!
I thought everything was well kept and nice. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Nice room and good customer service. The hallway carpet on the 3rd floor really needs to be replaced, otherwise it was a nice, older building.
1. I liked the buffet breakfast and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. I did not like the fact that house keeping can't speak or understand any english but spanish only. I simply was going out of my room and met house keeping outside the door and asked her to clean my room while i was gone but did not understand any beat and thought i meant i was checking out and told front desk, not until front desk chased me in the parking lot to correct this. The night shift receptionist that checked us in was extremely rude.
We always look for a breakfast included. Breakfast here was great! BUT the room was a big disappointment. .Never could get the temperature right after complaining to the front desk until last night. In the bathroom hated the "above counter" sink/basin! Very restricting to apply cosmetics/contacts. Only ONE towel bar in the entire bathroom and not by the sink! Only one mirror in the entire room; in the bathroom; no full length mirrow! TV remote did not match our TV had to go to desk to get correct one. Sorry, will not return to this property and will ask about bathroom sink in others before I book. Who came up with this stupid raised "above counter" sink?
