Shock at the condition of the apartment complex- very run-down. The overwhel smell of Marijuana took our breath away. We never got rid of the smell in the 3 days we were there with the windows and patio door open 24 hrs a day for 3 days. Old milk left in the fridge, old coffee in coffee pot, 1 piece of hair found in the bed. The tops of door frames in one bedroom acovered in dust. Hair in the tub drain, dirt, and dust behind the toilet in 1 bathroom. 1 lamp light switch broken, tape holding parts of ceiling fan, stains on place mats. The view provided in the advertisement shows a creek. Yes, there is a creek- the creek is filled with trash. The 4 bath towels provided look like my rag towels. They had to be rag towels, as they had no absorbency and bleach stains. Pillows are provided, but I am not sure if one could receive a thinner pillow. *Yes, the linens felt clean, but it was hard to state if they smelled clean based on the marijuana smell throughout the apartment.The carpet is old and needs to be replaced, but the issue is that it's crunchy. We did not have an issue with the carpet's age. We wouldn’t have walked barefoot at all on the carpet. I walked in socks on the carpet once or twice, and my socks weren’t dirty, but whoever cleaned the carpet didn’t use the right water-to-soap ratio, which is what we are guessing because it was c. We don’t believe the carpet had been cleaned before our arrival, as it wasn't damp when we arrived.We want our money back.
