Ok place. Clean - besides the fish moth in the tub.
Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean,& nice small diner right in the parking lot.
Excellent service and very friendly staff...and a great manager Elizabeth...
Good enough, close location, free breakfast.........
Good enough, but the cycling AC unit keeps you from having a good nights sleep. It'd be nice to have an AC unit with an always on option for the fan of the unit.
Great staff at hotel and terrific amenities. Some of the nicer hotels do not have the amenities that this hotel has, which makes this a great hotel for business trips. Refrigerator, micro wave. Good vending machines. Good breakfast with real milk for the coffee.
Breakfast included hot and cold choices. There were 3 choices of fast casual restaurants near by. The location was just off of HWY 75. That was perfect for me. The staff, Chris and Lei, were very helpful. I was more than satisfied with the size of the room. I loved the number of outlets and lighting options.
The motel was easily accessible, and it was easy to get back going north or south on major freeway, or to get on streets south to get Uptown/Downtown. Clean room, coffee/tea in room for morning, some noise picking up trash dumpster about 7:30am but who gets to sleep that late? The workout area was minimal with one treadmill, 2 other aerobics, a TV but no weights. Breakfast was good continental with cereals, bagels, sausage, eggs and beverages. I was pleased that I stayed here. Price was right for services provided. Staff were all curteous and helpful. James
Overall was OK. We chose for the location. Parking is tough. One of the managers was not good, hung up the phone on me.
Cannot beat the price to value ratio on this. Very central to most things you'd want to do or see. Uber to downtown or uptown for 10 bucks. Henderson ave bars and restaurants less, even walkable. Free breakfast is good and there's a coffe house (buzzbrews) next door.
Room was clean, staff was friendly, hotel was close to everything.
Only stayed one night but for the most part I had no inconvenience and it's great to park your car in front of your room for better access to your vehicle in case if you need to grab stuff and go efficiently
We love every min of our stay at this best western! the employees were great the service and continental breakfast was amazing! the rooms were VERY clean.... so glad we got a chance to stay there will defiantly stay there again and will refer other there... thanks America's best, Best Western
This Best Western does what they do very well. The rooms were clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, internet was great, flat screen TV, everything was in perfect working order and it was not loud. For the price and location this hotel cannot be beat. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
The staff was great!! The free breakfast was horrible. The potatoes were not cooked and frozen, the eggs tasted terrible. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable as well as the pillows. There is no view so you have to keep your drapes closed. They are black out drapes so it just made the hotel feel like a motel......
This motel is in a great location, close to Uptown with free internet and a small pool. I did not expect it to be fancy but the noise level was so bad we had trouble getting a good night's sleep on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Neighbors were sitting outside our doorway laughing, talking and smoking well after midnight. The smoke came directly into our room through the air conditioning vent under the window. Next night a group at the pool, across the parking lot were partying with loud music till well after 2am. (Pool has a sign; Closes at 10 PM) Biggest problem was our door &/or window were like paper; we could hear every sound as if it were in our room, including people, traffic, sirens, horns, etc. and we could hear all plumbing noises from other rooms, water running, toilets flushing. Air conditioner did not have a fan only function to block out the noise. Would only work off the thermostat and would not stay on no matter what temp we set it at even though it never dropped below mid 70's in the room. I value my sleep and will never stay at this motel again even though the bed was very comfy but very small pillows. Friendly staff.
The best compliment about the hotel is that the staff was friendly and nice. It is close to several attractions in Dallas, but the property is also very close to the freeway and all the rooms face the parking lot. You hear freeway noise at all times, plus the arrival and departure of guests, and their conversations. The nearby cafe also contributes to the noise. The room was OK but needed some updating; it seemed unwelcomingly dark. It is very much a motel in its outlay, decorating scheme and outlay. The major problem, however, was the very unpleasant odor of garbage on the one of the days while I was there. I do not know exactly where the dumpster is, but it was a strong noxious stench. I would not stay here again.
We had a little trouble finding this place due to navigation picking up the address on the freeway, and not an exit. It's off of Fitzhugh and I75, btw. Perfect check, staff was very polite. Our room, #105 was bottom floor (all rooms are facing the parking lot...not inside a hallway). Wish I had known this beforehand. Every bit of noise from the parking lot, from vehicles, talking, people locking their cars*horn beeps*, to car door slams, were very noisy at all hours of the evening/night. If someone walked along the sidewalk in front of the rooms and talked, you could hear every single word of their conversation...are you getting my gist? We had Godzilla in the room above us, and a room with 2 children beside us, one of which started crying at 5am on Sunday and wasn't quietened at all till we just gave up and got up about 6am. As far as our room went...it was perfect. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower head and pressure were great. Flat screen tv worked perfectly and had several movie channels. We had wake up calls each morning and the staff was very helpful. We left too early to partake of the continental breakfast, though. Noise...the noise is the downfall to this hotel. If you can sleep through outside distractions, this is a great location to many attractions in Dallas.
Very friendly staff and a nice tucked away space in bustling Dallas! Can walk to many eateries, train station and shops.
The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, nice mini fridge and working coffee maker. Right near uptown, a 3 mile jog to get through McKinney St. area. Close to fun restaurants and bars for mid 20's through mid 30's.
