The hotel is in a very nice building, with a nice courtyard. We asked for a room next to the courtyard. The room was fine but the bathroom had an awful sewer smell. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, with easy walking to sites, restaurants, and shops. I’m not sure if I would come back due to the smell in my room.

The hotel staff is extremely helpful in every way. Of course, the location of this hotel is perfect for those who want to enjoy the historical center of Cuenca. Ecuador has daily power outages and the noise from the generators can be quite annoying whether you are in the hotel or enjoying the shops of Cuenca.
