We had an amazing stay at Mansion Alcazar. The hotel has this classic cozy vibe and the room was incredibly beautiful!! It has also a great location near Cuenca's historic centre, but far enough so that the noise and movement of people didn't disturb us. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and assorted, we enjoyed local cuisine as well as american-style dishes. The Staff were super friendly and even helped us reserve a local tour to Cajas. If I had just one suggestion, is that our room was probably near the kitchen and in the early morning while sleeping we could hear the Staff talking and we woke up. As I said, probably due to our room's location. However, we would still return anytime!

The room was nice and the decor was perfect for this type of hotel. This is an older type hotel with hard wooden floors. The walls are very thin so be mindful of this. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms. Very interesting place to stay. The hotel staff were very professional and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The garden is stunning and A Feast for all of the senses. The room was very comfortable and the hot water bottle they put in the bed at night made it incredibly cozy and delightful

Such a beautiful hotel showing the culture and history yet upgrades for comfort. The lobby is amazing with a fountain and plenty of couches and chairs to rest and enjoy the peace. The numerous antiques took us back in time to the craftmanship of an earlier time. The garden was also beautiful with places to sit and enjoy.

The service was great at the lobby and concierge. The restaurant staff could have been a bit friendlier and alert. But otherwise great hotel, great location. Keep in mind the hotel is older so the floors creak a ton while walking.

Hotel confused me for my sister who had a separate reservation. Even though I have platinum status she received the upgraded room. We had identified this at the time of checkin. Service by hotel staff was way beyond expectations. We had two non hotel issues and hotel staff went out of their way to resolve. Can’t say enough about the staff. Breakfast items were limited in types but items all were high quality so it balances out.
