This hotel is very nice and good experienced staff

We enjoyed our stay however there were a few things that could have been better. The room decor could use some updating. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had bad water pressure. They provided a coffee maker but the coffee wasn't complimentary. The pool area was nice but there wasn't really a beach. The beach was man-made. I was surprised about that. The Italian dinner buffet was excellent as was the breakfast, but we ordered some whole fish for lunch & it was awful

PEDRO, AT CONCIERGE IS THE BEST. LET HIM KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO DO AND HE'LL GET YOU SET UP WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST. THE RESTAURANTS ARE NOT TO BE MISSED, BUT THE FREE BREAKFAST OPTION AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANT IS NICE ENOUGH TO START THE DAY WITH A SMILE. HAD TO SIGN A REPORT BECAUSE WE LEFT $$ IN THE ROOM, BUT NEVER HAD ANY THEFT PROBLEMS. OVERALL A GREAT LITTLE HOTEL FOR THE PRICE. PEPE SCUBA IS NEXT DOOR TOO-

1) the hotel is far away from the center, consider renting a car or using taxis 2) this hotel charge for anything!! even for TIP!! 2.1) some reservation has a start that you must pay TIP as mandatory this is rude! the hotel shouldn't charge TIP 2.2) wifi cost money 2.3) the bad coffee in the room cost money they are sooo rude the first thing they do when i enter to the room is to try charging me for the mandatory TIP even when i proved that there is no such section on my reservation. there is nothing special on thin hotel i would suggest to go to another hotels even the cheaper ones

Newly renovated hotel. Built right on a coral reef, this is a great place for those who like snorkeling and scuba diving. Clean amenities and grounds. Nice and friendly staff. Great value for the money you pay.

Hotel was fantastic as always this was our sixth year to stay at CP. Never disappointed.

The hotel was close enough to major attractions on the island and I like that it wasn't crowded (probably because it wasn't a mega hotel).

had a one stay before checking in to a weeks stay in an apartment elsewhere. The hotel was pretty on par with what I expected for the money that we paid. Whatever you do ask for a room away from the elevator. We were right next to it and kept me awake quite a while. The noise and goings on reminded me of my days living in a University college. OK for the price but don't expect this to be anything special

NICE PLACE. FRIENDLY PEOPLE. CLEAN ROOMS AND NICE BEACH AND CLOSE ENOUGH YOU CAN WALK TO TOWN EVERYDAY

good snorkeling , clean pool area. Did not know we had free breakfast until last two days. This info came in an email

Restaurant was at best average. Location was away from downtown and needed taxi all the time. Too noisy. The best was that the scuba dive shop is on premises and arrangement is very easy.

The hotel was half full. The Jacuzzi and Pool Bar were closed. The price of the food was high. The view was great. The Scuba Diving Shop was very good. The rooms were nice. I think they sell memberships or timeshares. One of their salesmen really wanted me to sit through some sort of "Presentation", but I was too busy for that.

the view from our room of the ocean was great. The food at the hotel was ok. a nice breakfast was included in the price. I liked the location and the staff was nice.

Room was more than adequate for what we needed. Hotel is convenient to downtown by cab.

My girlfriend and I visited the Coral Princess for 3 nights. The hotel has a nice location, away from all the crazy cruise ship crowds, yet still very close to downtown. THERE IS NO BEACH, just a man made area with sand and a ladder to access the rocky water. But that is what you will get in this price range. It is definitely a family hotel, since small children were always running around and there wasn't anyone near our ages (22-24). Our only disappointment was that the swim up bar and outside bar and the jacuzzi were all not open for the season. Not sure when the high season is, but this was a disappointment. There is amazing snorkeling right off of the front of the hotel. Be sure to rent a scooter!

I will definitely return to this hotel despite any negatives noted below. We had a three bedroom suite on the top floor (9th) that was absolutely ginormous, and it was oceanside with one of the best views ever. On the positive side, the hotel was clean, felt safe, location is awesome and the food (and drinks!) in the hotel's bars and restaurant were very good. On the downside, I was shocked that at check-in, you are charged an additional amount for "MAID SERVICE." Since there was no disclosure about this fee at the time of booking, it felt like a ripoff, despite the fact it was not a lot of money. Let's hope this is an isolated incident and not a new trend amongst hotels. The hotel staff was great and friendly, except some of the waiters were grumpy and downright insolent. Not a great plan for a hospitality business. Finally, the towel policy is so extreme it's laughable. They guard their towels - especially the pool towels - like they're gold! Heaven help you if you try to switch out a room towel for a pool towel. It isn't going to happen. You are constantly reminded that at checkout, you will be held accountable for either turning in X number of towels, or the same number of towel cards, or you will be charged $20 per (junky white) towel. I swear I was going to go downtown and buy them a dozen. As it was, for all of their strict towel control, we still ended up with 3 extras at the end of the trip. Obviously, the towel policy is not a dealbreaker, but the constant reminders were beyond annoying! On balance, you should consider this property. Just make SURE you request an ocean view and NOT the "jungle view," which overlooks the street.

Always great- one of the best staff on the island- Pedro, Jamie, Alex, Geraldo- little disappointed the pool bar and palapa bar were never opened, but. there are plenty of places to get a cool one.

The hotel and its quite white-sand beach are a fantastic getaway from the crowds in big cities! We went in March and it was a great vacational experience since it was still not spring break for many schools. The blue sky, turquoise water, white sand, and friendly hotel staff made this small resort a getaway paradise!

Not much to add. Only good experiences from this stay!

The view was fantastic, looking out the balcony doors you felt as if you were on a cruise ship, floating in the middle of the ocean. We booked the 2 bedroom suite and loved having a living room and kitchen; the additional space was great and as comfortable as home.
