We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Copenhagen Crown. Conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk to the Train Station. Walking distance to great bars, Tavoli, and the canals. The staff was very friendly and offered help with directions and bus routes. The room was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable.
A few blocks from the central train station, with lots of restaurants and shops close by, this is a great alternative on a moderate budget. Good size, simple but clean rooms with comfortable beds. Downside is that its not close to so many of the must see sights, but the neighbourhood is friendly, safe and genuinly danish. There is a nice guestlounge at the reception with couches and a small bar.
I had no faults with this hotel! It was priced fairly, located well and I had a really pleasant stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious, the entrance was welcoming and open and it was a 5 minute walk from the station and 20 minute walk from Nyhavn! I would definitely recommend staying here!
Copenhague is very expensive and so are the hotels. We stayed just one night. Bed very comfortable and big. Very simple room with ensuite toilet and shower. Nice stay. I would recommend it. It's in the centre and near to all amenities. Very quiet as well.
This hotel is in a great place close to everything you need and is also one of the cheaper hotels in the area but there was so much noise all around all night and especially in early in the mornings that I did not sleep very well. No aircon in the room and it was so hot I had to have the window open and the noise was unbearable. Breakfast was a good breakfast and nice and fresh well prepared. Staff were friendly. Cannot really recommend this hotel due to the noise problems but if there is nothing else around then this hotel would be ok for a night or 2
Stayed here for the easter weekend, and the hotel is a nice base for exploring the city. Close to the Central Train station, and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants near by. The staff are really sweet and eager to help. The room is unfortunately what brings my rating down to a 3 of 5. Pros: The bed itself is really comfortable, and although the windows turned out towards Vesterbrogade, it was very quiet. The shower itself had very good water-pressure though, and nice and warm water. Cons: The room was okay, although the cleaning could be better. Stains on the carpet, lack of vacuuming and old plastic cups under the bed, and the bathroom could really use an upgrade or a thorough cleaning. We did not try the breakfast, so can't really say anything about that. Decent wi-fi.
Excellent location - walking distance from central railway station (easy access to airport), Tivoli gardens, planetarium and city center. Very lovely neighborhood with lots of boutiques and cafes. Hotel staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Free wifi. Our room was spacious with very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size but would need some renovation. Hotel was small and quiet.
This hotel is in need of some tlc. Our room was overlooking the courtyard entrance and very quiet. The bed was comfy but the bedding could do with upgrading, the pillows were very lumpy and looked grubby. In fact, the whole room looked grubby, could do with a fresh coat of paint and new carpet. The shower was surprisingly good, water hot but the water didn't drain away very quickly resulting in a wet floor as the shower area overflowed. The wash basin also didn't drain properly leaving a scum of soap and toothpaste which didn't look pleasant and the toilet cistern took ages to ages to refill. Breakfast was continental style with a good choice of cereals, bread, hot and cold meats, cheeses and eggs. Very easy to get to from the airport, straight onto a train and about 10 minutes walk from the station. Hop on , hop off buses run from near the station so very easy to get everywhere. Free wifi but very intermittent.
The Copenhagen Crown was a lovely hotel to stay at. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We opted to find our own breakfast, but for an additional 100DKK per person, per night, there was breakfast available. Two things I would "critique" about our hotel were: First, that you have to be mindful of the doors. Ours didn't always latch the first time we closed it, and one time, after the cleaning staff had left, we returned from an outing to find the door essentially open. One little push and the door opened without even using the key. Second, the wifi. We were on the second floor and found that we would have to sign back in to the network every time we wanted to use it (even if it was just that the phone had fallen asleep between uses) and it was quite slow. This was a minor inconvenience for us as we were using it mostly for social media, but I would imagine it to be quite frustrating if you needed it to work or play games, etc.
Basic premier inn type accommodation, no tea / coffee facilities in room however if your happy with that its a great hotel. TV has loads of Britain programmes (subtitled for Dutch), roomy shower room and comfy beds, hair dryer in bathroom. Nice and quiet as set back from road. 5 -10 mins walk from Tivoli gardens, central station and town hall (where very long shopping district starts). All of this accessed by turning right on exiting the hotel. A few mins walk turning left however, we found a great restaurant, cafe phenix, about £34 per person main meal + a coke, but huge portions, was lovely food and place with great ambience. Staff helpful at the hotel, day one my phone and alarm did not update and we were half an hour late for breakfast, but the guy (serving on his own) let us have some regardless. Menu does not change but enough variety for a short stay. Great little base for exploring would stay again and recommend.
