I checked into my room and soon realized it was not up to Baymont Wyndham standards. I’ve stayed at two separate locations and they were great. The lamps were completely rusted, there was a plastic grocery bag over the smoke detector, the paint on the walls was chipped off, plastic front from the ac unit was broke off, there were ants, the bed spread was wrinkled. It didn’t give me warm and cozy vibes. It felt gross. I immediately asked for a refund, I was told to come to the front desk and was told I would get a refund after calling Expedia. Which I did immediately and then I received an email saying the hotel would not refund me. I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

The room was wide Open when I arrived, I proceeded to open the door and then I was hit with cigarette smoke and some other substance someone was already staying in my room, then man looked homeless. On top of that there were roaches on the walls, and the whole building was just disgusting. They tried to hold my deposit from me when I told them I wanted my money back. Then I called corporate and they wouldn’t help me either.

The room was clean , the housekeeper was great, got new towels and cleaned up every day. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. Really for the money it was way better place than i deserved. No odors. It is not quite a 3 star hotel . However for a 2 star hotel i give it 5 stars. If it claims to be a 3 star place id only give it 3 stars. Maintenence would have to be better and a hot breakfast with eggs sausage and fruit would have to be there.
