Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was friendly, Room was very clean as was the entire hotel. Morning breakfast had a big variety. Hotel is close to Polaris and not too far from Easton and the Tanger Outlets. Would go back.
Relatively new facility. One of the better Fairfield Inns I have stayed at. Near I71 exit and just north of Westerville, Ohio. Area can be congested with heavy traffic on main roads. Adequate parking. Registration was quick and easy. Room was clean, comfortable and met our request for accessibility. Breakfast was included and typical of those served at other motels and the attendants were efficient and helpful. Definitely would stay again.
The hotel lobby smells of something like lemon and sage. Rather refreshing. Our suite was comfortable. We had more than enough pillows, both feather and foam. Breakfast is good. Hot and cold options. It is served on foam plates with plastic utensils. The only spoons are soup spoons. Coffee choices are good. The location was convenient for all we were visiting in the Columbus area. I will return here on future visits.
If I would have written this review when I first got here I would have given 5 stars. The room presents very well and it's spacious. However, I didn't immediately notice the light that would blink all night, the very thin curtains, the hair in the leaking shower...I'll pass on this one next time.
Broken air conditioner in my room with no other rooms available, it wasn't a good night. Next morning they brought maintenance in to fix it. Received a call later that day saying it would be a few days before the part came in so they would switch me to another room and to see the front desk when I got back to the hotel. Whitney the desk clerk first had no idea what I was talking about then came back and assured me the air conditioning was fixed since that morning. Well needless to say, the air wasn't fixed so I placed a call to the front desk and talked to Whitney again who was not only rude but argued with me about whether the air was working or not. She asked if I wanted to stay in the room anyway. I had to go back down to the front desk and talk to Carrie the assistant manager to get another room. I travel here every 4-6 weeks and typically stay at this hotel as I have never encountered rude service before.
Arrived in the area around 5 pm on a Friday. Took One hour to get from the exit ramp to the hotel, which was less than 1/4 mile off the highway! We stayed in a King bed room on the second floor. We checked-in electronically before arrival, so were quickly in our room. The room was clean and nice. Later in the evening there was quite a bit of hallway noise from people who left their doors ajar for family/friends. The doors hitting the security bar reverberates down the hallway. Bring some earplugs to ensure you can sleep soundly! In the morning the breakfast bar was well maintained and stocked. The seating area was fairly full, but not noisy. The elevators were fairly slow at peak times, like in the morning for breakfast. If you can, take the stairs for a quicker movement in the building.
Nice hotel, clean and quiet. In a busy area, close to a lot of shopping and dining but a little set back so it isn't noisy. Comfortable bed, light blocking curtains. Very accommodating for a late arrival. Our first time at a Fairfield Inn and Suites, we typically stay at a Hyatt Place, but we will make them our first choice when traveling. Didn't get the breakfast, it ended at 10 on a Sunday which I thought was a little early. About 30 min. North of Columbus, 20 mins. form Columbus Airport, 20 minutes from The Ohio State University.
So, my room had no sitting area, full-length mirror or refrigerator. I was there for a few days for work, and it was fine, but I'd stayed in nicer places for the same price, in the Polaris area. That said, my co-worker asked to have some leftovers put in the fridge in the kitchen one evening, and not only did they do that for him, they warmed them up the next morning so he could eat them with his breakfast. He was very happy, and that was sweet of them. The front desk people were also very nice, and had their act together. I booked the room through a corporate travel site, so maybe that's why I got like the base-model room? It also faced the front of the building, with a LOT of light coming in at night around the edges of the blackout curtains. Ugh. The bathrooms were very clean and the toiletries are decent. Housekeeping did a nice job, and my air conditioner was top-notch.
We stayed at the hotel for a quick spring break trip with family. Upon arriving, the lobby was welcoming and clean, and the clerk was friendly upon checking in. We reserved a King studio and thought the room itself had a nice layout with a cool vibe (for lack of a batter word). Everything was clean and we'll maintained and/or updated. As we were preparing for bed, the sheets looked crisp and inviting after a long day. That's when things went downhill. The bedding was adequate, but it is a fairfield, so I'm aware we won't get 1000 thread count sheets. The problem for us was when we laid down in the bed, we both sunk and rolled to the middle. Our mattress is worse than trying to get out of a waterbed. We aren't small people, but I think a thin person would have extreme issues with this mattress. With everything else so nice in the hotel, the mattress we had is not conducive to restful sleep, or any sleep. We would have welcomed any non-painful sleep. So, that's why I'm confused at how to rate the hotel because evrything other than the mattress was great, but I would not pick this hotel unless I knew new matresses were purchased. The hot breakfast was very good. Waffles were awesome!
This was my first stay in a Fairfield in several years. The hotel is well designed, clean, and very comfortable exceeding brand expectations. The hotel is actually better than many Courtyard hotels that I have visited. Employees were friendly and check-in was efficient. Breakfast is included and was typical of value brands (limited selection, not high quality). I would be open to staying again at the right price.
