Very clean with good of the highway location Plenty of lower to high end dining choices within a mile or two Marriott continues to please Lots of shopping nearby tools that is your thing Found the rooms very quiet and left early in the morning so we missed the free breakfast
We visited the Fairfield Inn & Suites Polaris while in town for a wedding. It is a very nice hotel with well appointed rooms, nice free breakfast and a nice lobby area. The service was good. We had a room with a sleeper couch so we could have five people in one room and it worked out well. However, we did have to ask for about 4 extra towels and they were cheerfully provided. Parking was adequate. The only issue I had was we had the misfortune of booking the room on an Ohio State football weekend and the rates here and at other hotels were ridiculously high, but I have seen this at other college towns so I understand the issue. Sorry we got caught up on the high price party though. I would stay here again because we really enjoyed the room.
This hotel is in the Polaris area. Tons of places to eat and within a 5 minute drive to an upscale mall. The facility has gone through renovation and is fresh in appearance. The rooms seem to have been updated and were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. A good place to stay a bit north of Columbus.
I stayed here for two nights on business in the Columbus area. The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was slightly varied each day, and I would recommend it for ease of access, cleanliness, and comfort. It's just 2 minutes from I-71, but in a slightly quieter location than the hotels right off the highway.
This is a nice, clean hotel close to everything in Columbus. Its a 20 minute drive to the Columbus zoo. A 15 minute drive to Easton town center. A few minutes from Polaris fashion mall. Great place to stay to see all of Columbus. The rooms were super clean and big. The hot morning breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Columbus. Stop at Krogers for discount zoo tickets - $6 off the gate prices. There is one about a mile down the road from this hotel!
My son and I along with several other friends stayed at this location July 6th thru the 9th. This was the eighth year that we have attended the show and the first time that we stayed at this hotel. This facility has by far been the nicest that we have stayed at. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located very close to a business district so you had choice of restaurants and shopping. The only downside was the price of the room but at $144 a night and that was discounted from over $200 a night. There was an incident at the hotel on Friday during our stay when the fire sprinkler system was set off during the renovation of some rooms. Fortunately for our group none of us were affected.
We were in Columbus for the Junior national volleyball tournament. On the 3rd day of our stay construction workers set off the sprinklers and fire alarms in the morning while we were sleeping. Water flooded many of our rooms and some of the players clothes were drenched with water. First they had everybody evacuate the hotel. After the fire department had given the all clear they had us all run back in gather our clothing and incidentals as quickly as possible and get back out of the hotel. Water was everywhere in our rooms and had filtered down to the lobby and eating area from the 6th floor. Portions of the ceiling had fallen and water was dripping from the lights in the bathrooms and the ceiling in the sleeping area. I have photos and videos of all this if you are interested in truly following up. After things had settled down a bit we went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. We were told the manager was not on site even though we had seen him numerous times in the last 2 hours. We were told by the assistant manager a miss Carrie A Bosco. That she had told us the manager was not in and there was nothing more she could do for us. If we did not leave she was going to call the police. At that point we asked her to please call the police. She went into the back room and did not come back out. The police were never called. We received no help in finding new rooms. The young girl at the desk told us that they were bringing in service Pro to clean up the water and the rooms would be ready for us to sleep in that night. Because of that they were offering no help and no refunds. I personally have leukemia so obviously there was no way I was going to be staying in a hotel with water damage. This made no difference whatsoever to the Fairfield Inn staff. I can honestly say that this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.
Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was friendly, Room was very clean as was the entire hotel. Morning breakfast had a big variety. Hotel is close to Polaris and not too far from Easton and the Tanger Outlets. Would go back.
Relatively new facility. One of the better Fairfield Inns I have stayed at. Near I71 exit and just north of Westerville, Ohio. Area can be congested with heavy traffic on main roads. Adequate parking. Registration was quick and easy. Room was clean, comfortable and met our request for accessibility. Breakfast was included and typical of those served at other motels and the attendants were efficient and helpful. Definitely would stay again.
The hotel lobby smells of something like lemon and sage. Rather refreshing. Our suite was comfortable. We had more than enough pillows, both feather and foam. Breakfast is good. Hot and cold options. It is served on foam plates with plastic utensils. The only spoons are soup spoons. Coffee choices are good. The location was convenient for all we were visiting in the Columbus area. I will return here on future visits.
