Shows some wear, but clean. Front desk staff wasn't the friendliest. Decent selections for breakfast. Pool and hot tub area are somewhat isolated. Hot tube was only warm. Next to a Perkins Restaurant which had good food and service.
Nice hotel. Nice mattress, room was clean if a bit worn. Excellent breakfast , well maintained by staff. Our only complaint was the pool and spa. It is in the basement with no natural light. We pictured sitting by the indoor pool enjoying the fall sunshine. No. We left after about 15 minutes. If you don't care about spa and pool, this hotel is fine if a bit worn. If you picture yourself relaxixing by the pool....find a different lodging.
Room is disrepair, rude manager, average breakfast. Possible mold on the wallpaper! I which some was falling off. Plus I've never seen anyone put drywall over wallpaper. At least the breakfast lady was friendly and it was quiet. Do they buy their reviews?
The check-in/our process was very simple and the front desk workers were extremely friendly. The rooms were outdated, but overall a decent experience for the price. The free breakfast included warm foods along with the usual cold bakery items which was a pleasant surprise. You could also easily control the temperature in your rooms.
Only in Jeff City for one night. wouldn't have been our first choice - a bit too far from downtown but it was ok. The girl that was working when we checked in really should find a job she likes because she obviously is not happy doing what she's doing. Our room was fine, clean and comfortable. Pool area was small but clean. Probably wouldn't stay here again because the location isn't great...it was easy to find, right off the freeway, and in a safe area, just too far from the action for us.
The door card machine was broken down so they had all the unoccupied room doors propped open. Front desk clerk announced our room number with other people standing behind us- that's a big no-no. When we left the room and went to dinner, had to ask the front desk to open our door with their emergency key, which was a fiasco that took several trips back and forth to figure out which key worked in our door. The ceiling in our room had water marks. There was an HBO guide in our room but no HBO on the TV. The A/C was noisy, sounded like it was about to fall apart. A lot of weird looking characters hanging around outside and sitting in vehicles after dark. It would have been nice if they offered a discount on our stay or given me the option to cancel without penalty due to the inconvenience. I certainly won't be staying there again.
We stayed here one night on our way home from Table Rock Lake. The rooms were clean and modern, although some water damage was evident. They were spacious enough and had a refrigerator and microwave. The kids liked the pool area. The free breakfast was amazing. We had bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cubed potatoes with peppers, pancake maker, plus a good assortment of cereals and rolls. I'd stay there again just for the breakfast!
We stayed at this hotel because my daughter had an appointment in Ashland. We had to leave the hotel at 5:30 to be at the doctors at 6am. The breakfast was mostly ready even though it wasn't supposed to be til 6:30. The breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes with bell peppers. It also included pancakes. The breakfast was really quite delicious. I was impressed. The staff was very nice. When we returned from the appointment, it was 9am. I asked if we could check out late. The staff did not hesitate at all to allow us to take a nap. The rooms do need a little updating but overall, it was nice and clean. We have another appointment in February so we will definitely stay here again.
Stayed here in August, 2017. Property needs some maintenance in the rooms but is clean and comfortable overall. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was a bit lacking but it is free and very pleasant woman working the breakfast had no help. Having said the above, this is a very good value and I recommend this as a place to stay. I have stayed in other Quality Inns and this is on the high end for this franchise name. Location is good, staff is friendly and rooms are clean and quiet. I would have gone with "excellent" except for the some general maintenance that needs to be done (which would be a never ending process for a motel) and the somewhat unorganized breakfast (which, again, was fine overall).
We spent two nights here while we attended meetings in Jefferson City. The facility is located maybe ten minutes from downtown. There is a Perkins Restaurant next door. We had a one bedroom suite. Very roomy. Comfortable bed. Clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good hot breakfast..
