The owner warned us the ground floor was noisy because of people checking in. She didn't however tell us that we would hear her yelling all day and all night. She also failed to mention that her handicapped son roamed the halls making a screaming noise or that her husband felt it was appropriate to listen to the guest from outside their motel room door. The people in the room above us made noise all day and night, sounded like they were pacing back and forth. When I asked the front desk to please do something I was informed the room was vacant. The ghost people were kicked out the next day. My husband and part of the construction crew he works with stayed here, they all paid by the week and were all charged different prices. They charge extra for spouse's. Paying with cash will result in being kicked out for non payment. Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else. If you do stay here bring your own bedding as they do not change the sheets between guest (staff informed us of that).
My mom and I came to Jefferson City for the Missouri State Penitentiary tour and I found this hotel online. The rooms were reasonably priced so I booked them. The place is very clean. The rooms were clean, the TV, Microwave, and mini refrigerator in the rooms were clean and working. Beds were comfortable. They have free WiFi and cable. Free Breakfast that included biscuits and gravy. The owners were very nice and accommodating. For the price this was a good place to stay.
I’ve never been compelled to write a review before...until now. I was booked to stay two nights at this “hotel”, the reservation was made and paid for by the company hiring me for those days. Desk clerk was actually very nice, lobby was blah but who cares it’s a lobby. Elevator was clean, which isn’t always the case at some hotels, but when the doors opened the night got more interesting. Walking the tiled, poorly lit and narrow halls gave off the vibe of a nursing home you’d see in an news feature about terrible nursing homes. My room, let’s start with the positive, working tv, decent water pressure, and NO BUGS. I frankly was surprised by that last one. I’m guessing the room was recently remodeled. I say this based on the hardened blobs of caulking on the floor in the bathroom and the walls painted with no regards to even the slightest attempt at edge work. I have no problem with a room that looks “dated”, which this did, but the bedding looked as if it had seen many years of service with the occasional small tear and what looked like a cigarette burn but couldn’t be because this is a “smoke free room”. Large black stain on the chair. Huge crack in the shower wall. One of the door locks was broken. Something resembling tooth paste on one of the towels. Toilet that ran for 5 minutes after flushing. Loud AC unit. Bathroom exhaust fan sounded as if something was caught in the blades. Honestly, even after seeing all of this, my thought was whatever...I’m not paying for it and it’s only 2 nights. But the lack of sleep, due to someone trying out their yodeling skills in the aforementioned tiled hallway (which has a great echo feature), the what I suspect were crackheads arguing outside my room (in all fairness that might have been outside and could’ve been the same person that was working on their car and blasting tunes out there an hour earlier) and that whenever someone in a nearby room walked it sounded as if they were in my room, has made even this free room not worth it. I notified the company this morning that I will gladly pay for my own room elsewhere. So I guess if an inexpensive and bug free (by my inspection) are the only things required to meet your lodging criteria, then this is the place for you. But I’ll pass.
First, let me say that the room was clean and had everything you needed...good tv, microwave, and fridge. The bed was comfortable, but I do wish the king bed would have had more than three small pillows. The breakfast was simply average, and there was a weird smell in the lobby area, but not the rooms. I went in at night, and it simply did not feel the best, but there was nothing that happened that made me feel uncomfortable. The price was very reasonable.
I had a good experience. It was not overly expensive and the rooms had everything needed. They had a microwave, fridge, drawer space, and good WiFi. The beds were very comfortable and I overall had a good experience staying here.
I just come to vist Family in Jefferson City close to restraurants , Hospital& University clean rooms, Hot Breakfast, Free Wifi, pet friendliy friendly staff especially Front desk Clerk Keith .good price.amtrac close as well
Great room and excellent price. Excellent customer service. Breakfast is available when you are busy on your business trips. Highly recommended!! I would stay on all my future business trips. Best location to access Downtown and all the Jefferson city attractions and to the Capitol Building. Also very close to all the restaurants.
The room and bed are comfortable. The staff, specifically Panna the desk clerk, are very responsive to my requirements. You will get a really good deal if you work with Panna. Mine is a long term stay, and I need a place near the city itself. I can get to work in a matter of minutes from the motel, and that includes getting breakfast (I'm not a fan of the continental breakfast they offer). The motel is reasonably close to everything in the city. Specifically to responsiveness, they replaced my desk chair when the seat ruptured. It took a while, but they found a new chair. I'd recommend this motel for business travel and temporary accommodation in Jefferson City.
I came here good for business trip and stayed in American best value inn, this is the best in the city, have a great clean services, great price and best customer service ever seen before.i liked to have. ahot break fast every morning.
The room was dirty. Bathroom shower had hair all in it. And I'm not talking a little hair that you could pass up. I'm talking long black hair in bunches. The toilet we also had to clean something brown off the toilet seat before it was usable. The bed seats had hair and stains and the blankets had burn hokes and stains all over. Same with towels and wash clothes. Floors was very weak in places
