Awesome great staff
Very clean rooms Nice bedding. Limited ground floor parking. Restaurant had limited staffing. Menu prices high.
Rooms are small and outdated. Nice bar upstairs and lobby. Food at restaurant was OK. Staff is great.
I like the location. My room was a ADA accessible, and it was a lil out dated. The restaurant penthouse was good. I had breakfast bar the 1st morning and had to get food cooked and the next morning I didn't do breakfast bar.
Room was clean, bed was comfy and the bar/restaurant was very nice and friendly staff
Brief overnight stay. Central to Capitol and downtown. Convenient.
Hotel was not fancy but fine, until I stepped into the bathroom of my room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. The solution from the hotel staff (who said she could not smell it herself because she was a cigarette smoker)? Literally 2 puffs of air freshener. I did have to run the gauntlet of a large number of hotel staff smoking by the hotel door outside during our stay and wonder if one of them got a bit lazy and just lit up a quick one in the bathroom just before we arrived. Decided not to pursue it further but that should not be allowed these days.
I just had an overnight stay, but would love to stay longre. People are very friendly.
Very comfortable, clean and convenient hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent bed comfort. And great chocolate chip cookies.
Location is within walking distance of downtown Jefferson City. The rooms were very clean and they had a great restaurant bar at the top that overlooked every part of the city. Good value for all.
In town for a wedding, location was convenient, room was nicely laid out and though not large, seemed spacious because of said layout. Short drive to everything (no surprise here, Jeff' city ain't Manhattan or L.A. LOL). Didn't partake of the food at the restaurant, but purely in terms of the room this was one of the best hotels stays we've experienced in recent times. I'm betting this is as good as it gets in J.C.
The room was very clean and neat, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was amazing... they were very polite and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.
Shower was a walk in with a handicap chair. Not very sexy to my wife but it was clean. Room shape was very unique. Bed was very comfortable.
With the hotel being cylinder shaped the room shapes are a little different but overall its decent square footage and a nice place to stay. You can walk to the main part of downtown but you do have to walk some hills.
the staff were amazing and i had a awesome stay and visit in jeffersoncity mo i will be going back and this will be the place i stay fantastic service
I love Doubletree for the cookies, so these guys got that right. The shower/faucet leaked for the remainder of the night. The hotel was in the center of activity and was very near my destination. Compared to other Doubletree properties, this one ok.
Lovely hotel, and a great location! just a short walk (maybe 4 blocks) to the capitol, and there were many nice places to eat or have a drink (or both)along the way. (Madison's Cafe was very good!) The front desk staff (late night) was a little disorganized, but they gave us cookies to make up for the confusion. freshly baked chocolate chip cookies go a long way when you're away from home!! LOL In addition to my personal stay, i was attending a conference being held in one of their grand ballrooms. Their wait staff was excellent during the conference. both breakfast and lunch were served during the event, and the staff was quiet, efficient, and not disruptive in any way to the event or the speakers. very nicely done. (the food was good, too!) Not only is this a very nice hotel, where your stay will be peacful and pleasant, it's also a very nice venue for your next event.
The rooms were wonderful. A little on the small side but very clean, with comfortable beds. The TV was anice 32" LCD that was easily viewable from th beds. I have stayed at other hotels in the city and the rooms here were the most comfortable. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Supreme Court. Overall the walk was nice but some of it is up a pretty big hill so women wearing heels should definitely note that. I ordered room service the night we arrived and it took over 1 hour to get there, and the food was not good. For the price they charge the food should be much higher quality. Also, the room service menu has not been updated since the restaurant menu was and they didn't have anything that was on the room service menu. I tried ordering 4 things and they were all "not on the new menu". The restaurant staff had to bring me one of their menus to order. Then they called after 50 minutes and said they were out of one of the items I ordered! It was almost 11:00pm, closing time for them. I had to be up early the next morning so I ordered breakfast the next morning, which was equally unimpressive. Overall, the food was not what I'd expect a $100 total room service bill to be. Overall I'd reccommend the hotel itself, but go elsewhere for food.
