Rule #1 when visiting this hotel: The sidewalk is pitched to the right of the entrance near the driveway and the bell carts roll...and may possibly hit you or your car! Watch for this so you don't get injured...especially for elderly guests. It doesn't feel good when you get hit with a bell cart and then the Supervisor insists on telling you it wasn't "done on purpose". This is not an appropriate answer to a guest visiting a Hilton property. Of course no one would do this on purpose. The way in which a guest is spoken to "does matter" especially in the hospitality business. Our rooms were oversold even though we used a professional travel agency to book the reservation. Aggravating to say the least, however the silver lining on the cloud was that my colleague and I discovered a better hotel a block away. We really enjoy the people of Cologne. The overall feel of the city is welcoming. Maybe the staff was having a bad evening?

For a Hilton hotel I found it a bit lacking, the room though small was not too bad, but there were only two thin pillows on the bed (a queen) and there was no fresh milk for coffee or tea and only one coffee whitener, these problems could probably been fixed by a call to reception but as it was only a one night stay it did not seem worth the trouble. The breakfast though was very good. The location to the Dom was excellent and it is within walking distance (even with suitcases) to the main station if you are touring.

Perfect location, nice room, excellent breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. Enjoyed the 3 days we spent there. Recommend it to everyone for a short or long trip also. We will go back next year when we visit Köln

Great hotel, lovely service, great location. I would recommend this hotel! just a few steps to the DOM, walking distance to the Rhine. The restaurant and the bar in the hotel are very nice. Great to unwind after a busy day in the city. I have been here several times and will go back again!

The first room they assigned to us were found to have several problem. The towel heater did not function, the extra bed for my son was not long enough. We reported the findings to the Reception and their Customer Relationship Executive, Laura was very nice and helpful! She had taken care of our feeling and changed another room with sofa bed for my son! Thanks a lot to Laura for her professionalism and warmest arrangement.

This hotel is right in the city centre. The service, food, rooms are all fine and it is good value for money. If you come to Cologne on business it is a perfect place to stay. Cologne itself doesn't feel as safe as it used to be. I'd recommend caution when walking around the city centre of an evening.

I chose this place because of the location which is very short walk to the main station (3min) as I needed to get to Dusseldorf daily. Couldn't fault the hotel although the room size is just a little small but not an issue for 1 person. I sent a request for an early check in around 12pm. They replied it is not guaranteed but it was accommodated upon my arrival without issue, which I greatly appreciate. As hilton member, the internet was free and has sufficient speed. Amenities were great including iron and ironing board to freshen up my wrinkled business outfit after 30 hours of travel. The only downside is the hotel doesn't offer complementary water in the room, have to purchase this downstair or buy it outside. Near the hotel (literally just around the corner) is kamps, a bakery shop which you can find all over German, an easy stop for breakfast or lunch. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered great selection and you can squeeze your own fresh orange juice.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here in April, it was a great location, close to a lot of touristy areas. It was the perfect choice for a 2 day vacation in Cologne. We loved Cologne, it was a great place with amazing food and culture.

I stayed here for a couple of nights as I usually do when visiting Cologne. I left in a hurry on the last morning and left behind three cashmere jumpers (one with labels still attached) When I arrived home I contacted the Hilton who said that they would search my room and get back to me. When I heard nothing I contacted them again and they told me that they could not find my clothes and reassured me that all of their staff are honest. Clearly they measure honesty in a different way to me.

Located just few minutes from the Main trains station in Cologne which is suitable if you travel by plane and use public trains or just want to visit Cologne. Everything you want to see in Cologne is just minutes away - walking distance. Eventhoug I visitited fair in Dusseldorf - I chose to stay in Cologne. It is excelent connected to Dusseldorf (20-30 min train) and to Cologne Bonn airport. From airport train brings you to Main train station and there is just few min walking to hotel. Check in is very friendly and very fast. Rooms are clean and nice size, bed is extremly comfortable. There is complimentary tee and coffee in the room and a small fridge you can use for your own things. I used gym everyday there - its open 24 hours and it is not crowded. I was ususally the only person there at about 8-9 pm. Also I used SPA - which is small but extremly great thing to have a steam sauna after working and after work out in gym. Everything opens just with a room key. But bring 1 euro coin with you to lock your locker there. It will be returned while opening locker. You dont need to bring any towels since there are plenty of towels in gym and spa. There have no pool - I would love it if there was a pool. Spa is open till 10 pm. Brrakfast is very good. Variaty of food and several kinds of smoked salmon. Also there is a chef that can make you omlets of your taste or pancakes. If you like caffe latte - order it with your table waitress - they are extremly friendly. I would certainly choose this hotel again while in Cologne.
