Facility is quite narrow and space is very limited. Doors barely clear the nearby furniture. We brought 3 luggage cases and there were no space at all anywhere to open them all. Amentities are also quite old fashioned. There was a front-facing toilet bowl. The fridge seens to share electrical fuse with the stove as there was a notice saying don't use them both at the same time. The fridge was also off by default and almost spoiled our food the first night. Shower was also very difficult as the curtain had to be carefully positioned to not spill a flood onto the floor outside. After each room service there seems to be a weird unpleasant scent hanging around (don't know what they used) and we had to open the window for an hour to let the smell fade away. Overall is worth the money but would probably pick a better facility next time.

Good location in that close to old city, main railway station and 3 supermarkets. But down a dark narrow street - not good late at night Towels were changed daily plus bins emptied We wanted accommodation with kitchen facilities so we could cook our own meals. Facilities were minimal and poor.There were 2 hot plates as part of draining board. Fridge could not be used at same time. One large casserole cooking pot and a frying pan were provided. Kettle etc had to be boiled on the floor using an extension lead on floor under the sink. Cutlery fell out of cupboard including "sharp" knife just missing my friend. Opening Fridge door resulted in damaged knuckles. Lighting so poor that we had to use a torch to read by and cook. e

Nice room close to Eigelstein Torburg.

Well located less than a km from central station and very close to other metro connections. Comfortabe room, good shower and hair dryer. There's no lift.

Clean, quite, good location staying

If you are trying to be there thru google map, don't search by hotel name, must check by address. If not you should lost. Once you find by address, you should find very sjort and straight way to go. I was using family room, that was in basement but has own bathroom, small kitchen, toaster and coffee machine as well. Extra bed metres also very good and quite area. Satisfied staying here except main door. Hard to open with key and not used to that. Will stay here once will visit cologne again

Pretty basic disappointing but nice helpful staff.

It was a room, as basic as it gets, probably more a kin to a room that the dole office would provide to someone down on their luck. Disappointed at the price, I don't think Premier Inn would be too worried. On the plus side, the bed was comfy, it was quiet and if you like hot showers, then you'll love the scorch factor that could be summoned when on full heat. The hotel is also close to the station, cathedral and plenty of places to eat and drink, all within a 5 - 10 minute walk. On the really quite negative side and in no way was the hotel to blame or could have done anything to stop it, on the night we arrived, there was someone no more than 50 yards from the hotel sitting on the floor smoking something that smelt, well, I'll let you figure that out and the following morning, a guy was urinating in the street...charming.

Good location, but tiny.

Staff needed to confirm details at both check in and check out with an external source on the phone, when the details were in front of them. No staff at check out. Had to wait 20 minutes for staff member to arrive at work to check out. No elevator. Would be ok if you are a local or light traveller, but not when you have to handle a 30kg bag up 3 flights of stairs. Room was tiny for the cost outlayed. I fully acknowledge that I was in a single room, but I barely had room to open my bag.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend before Christmas to visit the markets and explore the city of Cologne. The location of the hotel was very good (about 10min walk to the Cathedral). We arrived late at night but I had emailed beforehand and checking in was simply collecting the room key. We really didn’t see any staff members at all through the stay. The room was basic and not entirely clean in all the corners. There was a small kitchette and an en-suite. The hotel has thin walls and our room was by the front door so we could here people arriving and leaving. As students we were on a budget and so we didn’t expect much but we weren’t in the room much, only to sleep. Overall it was basic but it suited what we needed and paid for.

Alright you get what you pay for!!

A nice clean hotel, perfectly fine for a few days away looking around the Christmas markets, if you just want somewhere to eat your head and take a shower!! Only thing I’d want to know is all the rooms are off a central stairwell which has a tiled floor, so when other people are clumping up the stairs after having a few drinks, late in the night, maybe they’re slightly unfit aswell, it was very noisy. Just something to be aware of! Having said that, reasonable value for money.

Refused to entry even I paid in full

I went to the hotel right after my flight. I know I arrived late but on the booking it didn't explain there are any limited time to check in. When I arrive I ring the door bell. A person answered the door but simply lick me out. I explained I have booked a room for 2 nights and I have booking confirmation with me. He said the hotel is fully booked and everyone all checked in. There is no way I will let you in! I said, so you oversold the room and now you tried to kick me out, after I paid. He said there is no possibility you booked the room with us. Now go away. So I paid the room for 2 nights in full. I was forced to walk on a dark street trying to find another place to stay. After I walked 1 mins I was attacked by locals who splash paints on me. They tried to take my jacket off and rob me. I give them few hundred euros and they let me off. Worst experience ever!

We arrived to check in and were shown to our room which was not ready so had to wait in the corridor when we were finally able to go in we were shocked as to the size of the room about 10 sq mtrs we put our luggage in but then we could not enter, as we were very tired we stayed the night two single beds pushed together on tiled floor, during the night the beds separated and I fell to the floor. The bath room a shower 600x600 with curtains was dirty with mould growing, the room size was no more than 2 mtrs sq. This room also had a kitchenette but the dishes were dirty upon inspection,. The next morning we complained the next morning about the room and that it did not match the room advertised on the picture we were told that this was the room that we had booked and that we could not rely on the picture but on the description double bed with kitchenette. We told them that we were not happy with that explanation, but they simply did not care. We went out for the day and upon arriving back we told them once again that we were not happy with their explanation and that this was not what we had booked.they still did not care , so we went to our room and booked a hotel in Amsterdam and then Informed them that we had decided to vacate the next day and that we are giving them notice and that we would only pay for two nights we were then informed that the full payment had been withdrawn from our account and that there would be no refund. This must be the hotel from hell. Stay clear fro
