First hiccup at check in solved by the front desk very nicely. Got all the help needed for group check in. And smooth sailing from after that. First day over dinner Adolf mesmerized with his soulful voice, and his acoustic guitar. I stopped eating for a while and just listened. I was there for 3 days. And on the day before I left, decided to spend some time in the Aroma Cafe and Deli. I went there at 12 AM and found Bhanu Pratap Singh on the cafe. I ordered my coffee to him and sat and he was there with my Americano in 4 seconds ,he saw a book in my hand and we started talking. Soon it was 4AM and we didn't realise. If ever you go for midnight coffee ask for Bhanu! I have and the best possible experience there. And the last day will surely be memorable. Kudos to you. Keep it up. You guys deserve all the credit.
This is hands-down my worst hotel experience ever. Check in took forever (expect 20 minutes), and when I arrived in my room it was dark. Even with all the lights on in the room I could not find my way around easily. The hotel staff could not help, so I had to suck it up. I needed a flashlight to see what was in my suitcase. It was that bad. Beyond that, the walkway to the gym was unlit, so if you are visiting out of daylight hours be prepared to use the flashlight on your cell phone, it truly is that dark. I felt unsafe as part of the route is outside. The lights were off in the gym every day I visited, and the air was off too. There was an empty tissue box in the bathroom that was not replenished. I ran out of toilet paper and was not given more. The bathroom was so dark I could not see clearly enough to get ready in the morning. Oh, and there was no hairdryer. I had to call down to guest services three times before I got one. This was not an isolated experience. I was in a party of 16 people, and 'awful' was the consensus all round.
I loved the stay in Kochi, the staff was very helpful, with my elderly mother, they gave me early check-in and late check-out. Food was good and the breakfast was excellent. They should pay attention on the cleaning, toilets were not that great and the carpets too. Otherwise stay was good. Thank you
To end our honeymoon on a high I booked a room for a night and it was totally worth it. I have no complains about the stay, however, I would like to stay here for couple more days to actually enjoy this hotel. I have used IHG hotels before and keeping in that mind, staying at Crowne Plaza wasn't a disappointment. Although, if you're an IHG customer and have an account with them, bookings done through their mobile app or website only guarantees loyalty points. Third party vendors are despised by IHG. Be careful!
I been there for 2 night it was very good hotel and actually i would to take about the Indian restaurant which is in the lobby they have one of the best chef of Indian food. Any one who want to try it he or she will not regret it.
It took a very long time to check in ,We were put in a double room bed instead of a triple , which is what we paid for & on top of that the beds were filthy they had filth , dust & BLOOD STAINS!! Is that Acceptable practice in any hotel ... I wouldn't give you even 1 star for your level of hygiene 12/1/2018
I spent two nights in the hotel during a round trip in South India. I liked very much the spacious comfortable room and the bathroom. Free WiFi, coffee and tea maker, flat TV. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and dinner buffet excellent with a big variety of foods.
We arrived at the Crown Plaza in Kochi after a long seven hour drive from Wayanad. The hotel is a typical city hotel with all the usual top class facilities. Roof top bar is a nice place to relax and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Our only complaint was that two of the rooms had dirty baths (body hair still present) and this was sorted after ringing reception, but not the standard you would expect from this chain. We ate in the main restaurant with some of the party having al a carte dining and others lighter meals and most was fine. Some of the other guests allowing their children to play with the food on display was annoying, however, the staff did their best to control.
One of the finest in Cochin and located in the Main national highway, seems a getaway being away from the city centre. The standards are good and the property is well maintained. The services had no flaws, the food quality was excellent but varied a bit with the different menus available. Staff seemed quite friendly and helpful, that was important for the set standards. Just being opposite to another star hotel makes one to choose between the two in this location and for the moment this property seems to score.
Good hotel, very good service , very good food and great spa to try when you have time to relax. The staff are very nice and friendly. Several restaurants to chose from, pool, gym, business center, etc.
