The hotel is old but clean and beautiful. Sophie was a delightful breakfast waitress. The buffet was delicious and the restaurant lovely. We will book here again!

Good location and decent rooms, but the valet parking system needs improvement. If you are charging $32 per day to park, it should not take 20 minutes to get your car.

The hotel & especially our room smelled musty. It was so bad it woke us both up & made us feel sick. The room was tiny & very outdated. I will say the bed was comfortable, but the rest of the room was so dirty & gross I couldn't help but worry the whole time that the place was full of bed bugs. I always thought Renaissance hotels were suppose to be high end, but after this stay I will never choose a Renaissance again. Especially at $377 for one night-very disappointed.

What a marvelous hotel! It has such a luxurious feel but the staff was down to earth and friendly. Our young kids had a blast in the indoor pool that had an outdoor feel. The rooms were cozy but high end. The view of public square was fantastic! (We were the to watch American Ninja Warrior so it was incredible). So happy we stayed here!

I plan weekends in Cleveland several times a year and I am always pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of rooms. The location is what drew me to the hotel as it is walking distance to the Q, progressive field., East 4th and of course the casino but the hotel staff, comfy bed and great breakfast is what brings me back !

Centrally located and quick pick ups w Uber to take you anywhere. Great coffee shop across street Rebol. Go to Town Hall for great food. Bartender in the lobby knows where to go for nightlife

Here for moscow ballet 2016. Hotel is grand....charming...lots of character from a time so much better. Our visit was wonderful and found everyone to be gracious and helpful... great stay!

Stayed there for a night in October. Pros: location Cons: parking garage is ridiculously hard to park in The hotel can only do heat or air conditioning for all the rooms. So our room was sweltering and there was no way to turn air on in the room. Cost was >$200 for the night with zero bells and whistles. No ventilation in bathroom so it steamed up very easily and there was mold on the shower curtain. Shower head had only one setting: pain I've stayed in more than my share of crappy places and am happy to do so when the cost is right. This boils down to a very expensive subpar product.

The fire alarm went off and it asked us to leave the building. It was crazy and when I got to the lobby it was like the alarm wasn't going off no one seemed bothered at all. The front desk was like oh sorry we were resetting the alarm. Geez! Lol Other than that it was a great hotel perfect location.

Hotel is beautiful from the lobby. Very displeased with the room size. The bathroom tub was not clean and could use some updating. Called for room service and never received what I requested. The phone didn't work...was not pleased at all and will not stay again.

Overall, location was great, but room was damp and to get heat had to open the windows of which caused the room to be damp. Bathroom was so small only one person could be in there at a time.

Check in the receptionist was not very helpful. Bartenders in hotel restaurant were great

this was a nice hotel and great room. we had a suite which was very comfortable.

Local was great! Staff was wonderful but, when we purchased the room we were told it would be a King or Two Queen sized beds. It was a double, told that was all they had when we arrived. Could have lived with that but couldn't watch TV due to an old cable box that broke up every couple of minutes. Really wasn't there to watch TV but was disappointed since we expected this to be a top notch hotel.

The Renaissance Cleveland was Wonderful! Talk about convenient - a couple flights of stairs and around the corner from the RTA at Tower Center. My travel from the airport was a breeze. An easy seven or eight minute walk to the Cleveland Convention Center where I attended a meeting. Lots of access to restaurants. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great value for the price, and for me, it was nice to stay in a historic hotel. The lobby and the rooms seem to be nicely kept. For a business traveler, this is an outstanding location and combination. Easy access to public transportation to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I will recommend the Renaissance Cleveland to my family and friends. Thank you, Hotel Crew.

This hotel could be beautiful, but it needs a bit of a facelift. The room we got was tight for 2 people. Not the worst experience, but for the price (or slightly more) I'm sure you could do better. Availability of street parking on the weekend is nice.

Good selection for a downtown hotel. Would stay there again.

It was valentine's day and we got there at 2pm from an awful snowy trip and had to settle for a room with 2 double beds instead of the king bed i was promised. They didnt do anything to make it better for us... no comps or upgrades .not even a sorry. Wont be back.

Love the hotel, the lobby was very elegant. We stayed near the holidays, it was decorated very nice. The pool area is very nice too. Love that it was attached to the Quicken loans arena and the Towers City mall. We will definitely stay again.

It was great but no handicap accessibility to the casino.
