For the money we paid wd expected the room to NOT have patched up holes in the walls, bath tub or sink.i get it's old but a bit of extra care? Maybe better beds and shampoo and conditioner in the bath?

the Renaissance is a gorgeous 19th century hotel that has been restored to its origianl grandeur. the hotel is extremely well run with knowledgeable and helpful staff. the Hotel went out of its way to make us and especially my 92 year old mother feel welcome and cared for. it is very centrally located and also has a beutiful lobby bar and meeting area as well as a delicious breakfast buffet. i look forward to staying there again and may go back to Cleveland just to do so!

Hotel was nice and clean. Old architecture and beautiful. Stayed only one night for a concert in the area. Parking was 32 if you parked and 36 if valet. These types of fees drive me crazy but seems like everyone is doing it these days. Both include in and out privileges which I’m finding more and more hotels are not offering. My husband showered and the tub never drained so I went without. I didn’t call the front desk because we only live a few hours away. This would have been a big issue if we were staying more than a day.

The front desk help was rude and had attitude with me. Instead of helping me figure out a solution she just said she couldn’t do anything about the situation. That incident really turned me off to an overall good experience.

Beautiful vintage decor along with modern features. The elevators are very fast and efficient!

We went to the Eric Church concert - the hotel is old and dated and our room was Tiny!!! But we were able to walk to food and the Rocket Mortgage fieldhouse without going outside which was nice. The customer service from the staff at the Renaissance was really poor. I called the front desk twice during our overnight stay. No one ever picked up the first call after letting it ring for 5 minutes. That was at 11:30 PM. At 9:30 in the morning I let the phone ring again for 3 minutes (times) someone finally picked it up. When we went to get our car from valet, no one could take the time and actually explain where the valet station was (it was outside and obstructed from view by writing on the window). Probably won’t stay here again not because it is an old hotel but because the staff could have cared less about their guests.

Hotel was nice, I would stay again just wish the rooms had USB outlets

Very nice hotel. Great View of public Square. Very quiet and comfortable. Will stay here again. The only issue is the cost of Valet sparking. I know it’s the going rate in downtown Cleveland but it a little steep especially if you don’t take your car in and out.

too warm in room could not cool it off otherwise OK
