No valet parking line advertised. Called SEVERAL times throughout the day and no answer. Door to room would not shut. Left and I thought the door closed but the latch in the door that goes into the door jamb was sticking out and the door dod not locked or shut. I tried to get it to go back in and after several attempts it would close. Same thing every time I opened the door and tried to close it.
The room was not clean- we were let in our room by the “cleaning inspector” - she told us her job was to inspect after the girls cleaned- our shower had hair in it. They gave us the wrong room - canceled our key cards and did not let us know- we came back late in the evening and tired - went all the way up only to find our keys did not work. Back down to get new keys and find out we were given the wrong room- our tv said “Welcome Mr. Nino” - not sure who that is. Convenient place if your not spending any time in the hotel - some of the employees were nice but others EXTREMELY rude! Really I would look elsewhere- the Westin is next door
Was even better than I expected.
Extremely clean, mattress sucked, sheets were super scratchy and my nose was cold all night even though I had the heat at 75 degrees. The staff at the front desk was very nice. If I had just been able to sleep in the bed and not had a cold nose, it was an okay stay. Also, the lightbulbs in the lamps were all this awful white color, not warm yellow cozy color like they should be, so it felt more like a garage than a cozy bedroom or living room vibe. And there was not enough lighting even with all the lights on for me to see to unpack my suitcase because the ceilings are insanely high and you would need overhead lighting to light a room as big as these rooms are but all they have is lamps.
We stayed at a suite (two queen beds plus a sofa) at the 14th floor; the squarefootage was large already, but the volume was trully impresive as the height was about 12 feet. Add to this six large windows (including the bathroom's one) and you get a fantastic view of surrounding buildings with spots of the Ohio river and the Red's stadium. The bathroom was large too, and everything was clean. There is ample public parking next door ($21 maximum per day, and $7 every eight hours over weekends; however each day is started at 4 am(!!)), were we left our car, but later I found public parking was available at a rate as low as $5 maximum per day (again, with the day starting at 4 am) on days were no games were happening). There is a free trainway that loops throughout the business and over the Rhine districts running until about midnight and we found it safe to walk around the city. We didn't use breakfast service at the hotel (we didn't see it being too active either while we stayed), but next door at Sleepybee offered a good option for breakfast. The room was clean though one night we found out room service failed to show up that day; however the frontdesk promptly brought us a new set of towels/tea supplies.
Put me in a room that wasn’t turned over. Breached safety and security protocols by allowing others to gain keys to my room. Then issued me keys to someone else’s room where I walked in on them having “s.x”. Then told me I was wrong about my room Num. Called the cops, they realized they were wrong. Worst experience of my life!!
When we arrived the hotel was chaotic because the the room card readers went down in the hotel. There was many guests standing In The lobby trying to speak with the hotel staff because they could not get in their room.
