Absolutely love the Rambler Motel. Inexpensive, clean and quiet. Free parking and a great cafe on site. The housekeeping is amzing. You wont regret staying here.
I likes the friendly staff at the front desk, the cleaning staff, the outdoors pool on the sunny days and the trolley station 2 blocks away.

Second nice stay at the Rambler. Quiet, affordable friendly and less than 15 min to SDSU. Funky re-do of an old motel. Basic accommodations, but we just slept there. Beds were great. Rooms could use a mini fridge.

The hotel is right off highway 5 so it’s super convenient. Rooms are a good size and very clean. They give you a nice discount at the on site restaurant which is sweet. Food is not great though. Staff is very nice and helpful. Check In was east. The only thing I didn’t line was the surrounding area. Kind of shady. A lot of tweakers running around but then I guess it’s common thing these days. Price was a bit high but it’s San Diego in summer.
The staff was fantastic. This was such a cool unique place to stay, from the decor to the entertainment options, to the cafe. I wish this was a chain motel and I would stay with them wherever I traveled!

Love the modernization of an older hotel. The cafe was great. Love the movie in the pool. Beds were very comfortable. Lose the square pillows though. Get normal pillows.

It is very well kept, cozy and comfy and no parking fees. Yay! Small store and Cafe on premises and arcade. My 24 year old loved it so much he wants to go back with his friends..the retro look is really cool and different. Just off the I-5 Fw y, only few minutes from everything
