Quality Hotel & Conference Centre

25% off the White Spot adjacent to the property was an excellent breakfast perk. Large, comfortable, quiet room. Nicely upgraded bathroom. Everything worked :). I was lucky to snag convenient parking in a covered structure close to entrance most of my stay - super when traveling with dogs. Also lots of shade in the parking lot (it was hot outside at the time I was there). Wish there was a little nicer area to potty dogs near the building. There are lots of great places to walk in the general area. I would have preferred a room with a window view. Wifi didn't work with my newer iPad, but was okay with my older phone. Verizon cell reception generally bad all over Abbotsford. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Indoor Jacuzzi was relaxing & just the right temperature, not too hot. Manager was very kind and extended my stay at the same great price, plus a friends room. Excellent customer service!

Recently had an overnight stay at The Quality Hotel, Abbotsford. Our room was a good size with all the amenities you would expect from a 'quality' hotel. Comfortable beds/pillows, A/C, good TV, free WiFi, coffee maker etc. Being part of a tour group, breakfast was provided, but I have to say, it was probably the worst breakfast we have had on out tour of Canada thus far. Notwithstanding this, I am still giving the hotel a good rating.

We stay here once a year, combine it with a visit to the adjacent Castle Fun Park. Not only is this location great for that reason, but it's just a minute off the freeway and there are a lot of quick food options nearby, within walking distance even. Just around the corner is a grocery store, liquor store as well so if you've been driving all day and want to finally park and stretch your legs a little, within 10 minutes you can get pretty much whatever you want/need. Smooth and quick check-in/out as always and friendly staff. Nice (indoor) pool area/hot tub and an exercise room as well. The rooms, a/c worked great, beds comfortable, nice mini-fridge and free wi-fi. Clean and nicely appointed. They offer a 25% discount at the attached White Spot restaurant for breakfast, 10% off the rest of the time and you don't even have to leave the property, it's just down the hall. A good value, FANTASTIC value if one is considering driving the extra hour into Vancouver, the rates there would be at least double and free parking non-existent.

Stayed here as "just a place to sleep for the night". We were pleasantly surprised! It was a very nice, clean comfortable room. I was worried because the price was so low that it wouldn't be nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I always stay here super friendly staff comfortable rooms dennys restaurant downstairs walking distance to high street shopping centre great for the airport I have stayed here three times now and will always choose to close to the airport luv it !!!!!!!!!!

Front staff was very friendly and I got upgraded to a family suite just because I'm a loyal Choice member and I didn't even have to ask. I like that the White Spot restaurant has access from inside the hotel so I could go for nice quick dinner without having to go outside. If you prefer fast food, Tim Horton's and McDonald's are just down the street. As a Quality Inn it's nothing luxurious but exceeded expectations and great value from top to bottom.

This hotel has the friendliest, most helpful staff I have ever encountered in all my travels. Right from the front desk staff to the room attendants; what a treat! The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and it was an overall wonderful experience for the one night I stayed. I used the business centre on the second floor (it had an elevator) and there were two computers with a 30 minute time limit. I think that's a good thing otherwise people tend to sit on them all night. I didn't mind that at all. The hotel is right by the highway and I could hear the traffic but turning on the fan in the room helped "smother" the noise.

As you may have seen from my past reviews, I'm always on the lookout for the best combination in value for family and pet friendly getaways. While traveling with two young boys and one older one, along with my big doggie, it isn't always possible to find accommodations that will fulfill all of my preferences, but the Quality Hotel and Conference Center in Abbotsford very nicely fit the bill. (Full details of the many offerings of this hotel is on their website, so I won't list them all.) My checklist: Family friendly? Yes Pet friendly? Yes Value? Yes Convenience? Yes The price was reasonable, for an early December Friday and Saturday night stay, at $129 per night for a standard room with two Queen beds. The room was a decent size, clean, and the beds were comfy. I would have liked a microwave and mini fridge, but this was a basic room and did the job. We came here for my two younger ones for a special birthday getaway. I chose this hotel particularly due to its convenience and proximity to Castle Fun Park amusement Center. (Please see my review for this awesome place). The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and of course the location was very convenient, right off the #1 Trans Canada Highway. At the exit, there was Tim Hortons, McDonalds and Petro Canada gas station. Definitely can't miss it as it is literally right beside Castle Fun Park. The hotel pool was decent, and although we were tired from spending the day at the amusement Center, coming back for a dip in the pool/hot tub was refreshing and offered another choice for burning the endless energy my little ones have! Now the downsides. Although the hotel is practically right next door to Castle Fun Park, it is still a few minutes walk past the White Spot, through the parking lot and unfortunately NOT pedestrian friendly winding corner on a side street. During daylight hours it would be ok, even though there is no sidewalk, but I definitely do not recommend walking over once it is dark. The side street is not lit and you are definitely risking your safety walking on the shoulder. Another thing worth mentioning is that because there is now a White Spot on site, the hotel no longer offers a complimentary continental breakfast but instead offers a 15 percent discount before 10:30 am on breakfast menu items only. I much prefer a hotel that offers a complimentary breakfast, no matter how basic, as for a family of 4 to eat at White Spot; this can certainly add a considerable cost. An added bonus, I was given a courtesy late checkout until 2 pm with no issues whatsoever. Other than my minor gripes about the safety of walking next door, and the cost of breakfast; (which could have been easily remedied by a short drive to the turnoff and going to Tim's or McD's., this was a very pleasant stay for a reasonable price.

My husband, brother, sister in law and myself stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and in a pet friendly room, the beds were comfy, the room was clean, it's your typical hotel room, nothing fancy. A great room for our fur baby, that we brought with us. Only issue with the room was, a mildew mold smell, every time you came in the door. Hotel was nice, liked to restaurant that is attached to the hotel and you got a discount on food there if you were staying at the hotel. We had a wedding to attend to that was held here as well, the hotel staff were great at serving and clearing tables as needed. The dinner that the hotel cooks did was amazing! And the deserts were just as amazing! Over all great stay for the price we paid!! Just didn't like the smell in the room!

We needed a quick stop to stay overnight before we head south for the Blue Jays games in Seattle. Nice a close to the highway and very easy to get to the border. Rooms were fine and we were not bothered by the highway noise. Initially we thought there would be a continental breakfast but that is unfortunately not the case any more. There is a discount offered for breakfast at the attached White Spot restaurant but we just grabbed some Tim Horton's and headed out.
