We arrived after 7:30pm and had a smooth check-in. After dropping our bags in the room, we headed to Denny’s for dinner. On our way back, I noticed dog poop in the foyer and immediately informed the front desk clerk. It must have happened shortly after we left for dinner. The clerk acknowledged it, and my husband and I returned to our room.
Later that evening, we went down to use the hot tub but found no towels, so I went back to the front desk to request some. At that point, the mess was still there, and someone had stepped in it, leaving multiple footprints across the floor. I mentioned it again while asking for towels.
After finishing at the pool, we stepped outside and saw the same mess, now with just a yellow caution sign placed over it. Unfortunately, the sign only covered the main spot and didn’t address the footprints, which people could still step into.
When we checked out around 6:30am the next morning, the mess was still there. It was surprising that the staff didn’t seem concerned or take care of the issue during our stay.
