No hot water in shower and floor wet around jacuzzi and couldn’t get heat air turned on

The check in involved my prepaid reservation being lost a while. Once I pulled up my receipt the desk person then found it and quickly checked me in and gave me keys to an already occupied room. She had to call the room to ask the name of who was staying in it so that she could update her records. The room was clean but uncomfortable. The blinds don't stay closed so someone put paperclips so that you could close them. The pillows were rocks that bent your neck 90 degrees. Big room though and very quiet.

We have stayed in this town and general area a few times. It's just a good resting place when we visit family. We would stay at this hotel again because it was clean, reasonably priced, and almost quiet. The hotel is close to the highway and truckers do stay there with their rigs, so there is definitely sound, but it's better than most in this regard. The bed was comfortable.

When you have a family funeral to attend you don't want to have to worry about where to stay or your comfort. It was a pleasant surprise to have a clean room with a comfortable bed plus a free continental breakfast so we could get back on the road to get where we needed to be.

There were mice in the room. I notified the staff and they didn't seem to surprised.

The air con didn't work. The people were very nice

The most comfortable bed out of 4 hotels we stayed in on this trip including the casino in Reno! My husband was so happy to have a comfortable bed.

Easy check in and Out. Cold or hot breakfast available

My first time staying at this hotel. I read the reviews before booking and my expectations were based on them. I did have a good stay there and did not run into any surprises - good or bad. My limited interactions with the staff (check-in, check-out) were pleasant. Overall, a good value.

Checked in late and the reservations were for the next day since booked so late. Gal checking us in was terrific. She was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were good clean and comfortable, but heat had been turned up and about died before it cooled off. Otherwise all was good. Now morning crew left a lot to be desired. No food or coffee had been kept up and tables were filthy. It wasn't busy so there was no reason for that. When I asked for them to clean tables and replace some food and coffee I got attitude, like they were doing me a favor. Based on check in we would recommend this hotel based on morning not so much.

Excellent staff; average breakfast; close to freeway but no noise in my room. Only complaint is that t.v. didn't work well.

This was agreat location with places to eat close by with good food. The location was super because Thunder Hill Raceway was just 5 miles west of hotel.

Only negative perhaps was TV and Cable. Everything else very good!

I researched and decided this would be the place I would stay on my trip. A previous reviewer had mentioned bedbugs so I was on the lookout. (bugs love me). Nary a one, the bedding was very clean and bugless. The whole hotel was clean. The room rate was terrific. The only complaint, (which other reviewers had) was that the air conditioner was loud. No kidding! This was one of the quietest hotels I've come across, (which I appreciated) expect for the AC noise. They HONESTLY should change out their AC's and the place would definitely get more stars. I did sleep, but was wakened several times by the unit going on and off. Though this really is a decent hotel, two stars on amenities for the AC noise. I would recommend this hotel, but definitely throw in a caution about the air conditioners.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of highway noise given our close proximity to the freeway. There were several places to eat in walking distance. The breakfast area was swamped when we went there but that was understandable as everyone was trying to get out in time to attend graduation at Chico. The complex did seem to lack an elevator for access to the second floor.

We stayed there two nights while attending a race meeting at nearby Thunderhill. Previously I'd stayed at two other Willows motels - the Baymont is infinitely cleaner, more modern and much nicer, well worth the (very) few dollars per night more than the others. The indoor pool after a hot day outside was most welcome, and excellent restaurants are a very short walk away.

Good location if you plan to go to thunderhill raceway which is about 15 minutes away from the hotel. Fairly standard room and everything was clean from what I can tell. Apparently I got a newer room since mine had a thermostat and my friend that booked the same room did not have a thermostat. Pool is indoor and small but there was no one else using the pool so it was nice to have it all to ourselves. Continental breakfast is fairly standard and we were able to get some food before heading to the track.

Good Clean Room Could Use Fan in Bathroom.

The hotel is near a truck stop along Highway 5 in a town called Willows. It was the closest we could get to Chico for our daughters May graduation from the state college, even though we started looking in October. We were happy with our experience. The staff was available, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean, of ample size, QUIET, and the bed was comfortable. Everything worked as expected. The drive to Chico took about 40 minutes. There were many places to eat very close by.

Stayed at Baymont cause I was going to Thunderhill. Room was clean. Staff was courteous. The free wireless is bad on the second floor. I suggest requesting first floor if you want access. The continental breakfast is pretty sad. I just went to McDondalds or Dennys (within walking distance) Food at Black Bear was good(skip the bread pudding). Will stay there again if I am in the area.
